  1. Looking great. I love the way it’s coming together. Did you know that the pics on the right sidbar are outside of the body of the blog? Not sure if it is on your computer, but it is on mine.

I really like the way you have a pictorial on all the posts in a given category. Will there be a category for your photography as well? (please)

  2. Thanks Polly, I know the SNS pics are off the page, but the ones I’m able to manually size seem to be ok below. I can’t control the quick SNS-post-it-note ones on this template. Grrr… if I widen the sidebar, I lose post space. The new template isn’t very accommodating to what YOU want, but rather, to what it wants to give.

    Other categories to come:

    Photography
    Blog tips
    Cool projects
    Tutorials

  3. Strong work,Donna.

This will make it so speedy to access former blogs by category. The photos are so beautiful, I think it will draw many readers to past posts. And what a waste it is to only have them read once. New readers, like me, missed all that great stuff. I can’t wait to catch up.

Thanks for working so hard . . . I know it can be annoying work at times.:)

  4. I’m very late to this party, but I must say I love this post…and your blog! Great work :)

  5. I came across your blog while searching ideas for old pallets in the garden. I’m very impressed and inspired by all of your projects, such fantastic ideas and photography.
I will be trying some out this spring in Sydney Australia.
    Thankyou for sharing!

  6. i am attempting to edge around the flower beds which already are edged in brick. which way to go, lawn side of brick or inside? cannot decide.

  7. Hello Donna,

Thank you for your wonderful blog posts! We appreciate the wonderful and creative work that you do. We love your blog–and the rusty gears/cogs/sprockets that you use as a symbol on your site too :)

We just wanted to share our website with you. Dustin makes railings and fences and furniture out of found objects/rusty iron and farm implements. He is an artist-blacksmith. We are also on facebook: Tall Grass Forge

We just thought you might enjoy seeing the work we are doing with rusty iron!

I am subscribed to your blog via my email: lisa.sypher@gmail.com

Wishing you all the best and thanks again for the inspiration!
