Dandelion Milk - a funny little story from the past on how tricky we were as kids, by Funky Junk Interiors

Dandelion Milk – a story from the past

This was a little trick I played on my niece and nephew… and I’m not sure they’ve forgiven me 40 years later…

It’s been fun spreading my wings in a few different areas lately. One of those new areas is story telling. Once I started writing the dandelion one, 1001 other silly little memories jammed inside my head waiting to be released. What a quirky life I’ve led!

Wait till I tell you about the dreaded tire swing spin…

Or the creepy attic.

Art… on dolls?

My Gangster Dog Sally vs. spinning wheels.

Why is my cat wearing a dress?

The day the stairway turned VIVID yellow.

The Saturday night floor polisher.

Mom’s wooden spoon wakeup call.

See what I mean?! Thanks for the verbal release, FOLK! :)

  1. I don’t know if I have my head in the sand or what, but I had not heard of Folk Blog or Magazine. Thanks for the tip. I went to their blog and I love it.

  2. I go to Franklin regularly and clearly have missed some good shops. I loved your post there and will be having to make another trip up there to find those awesome shops. So glad I found your blog. I’ve really enjoyed reading it.
