Especially in the upcycling world we live in now. Old window shutters are magical to create with, since they’re an already built component.

    Donna,
    I made it to your party this week, so excited. Normally I’m so late that I just wait until another time.
    Love all those shutters, will give me something to drool over. I have some old ones just waiting for me to decide what to do with them. I’m off to look at some great ideas to ponder.

    Thank you for hosting, Donna! I’ve seen the shutters above Shirley’s (Housepitality Designs) mantle in person and they are truly fabulous. Her picture is great, but it doesn’t do them justice. They are amazing! Sure do wish I was going to be able to go to Lucketts to see you!

    I love this post. I am looking for ideas for a headboard for my master bedroom. I have been thinking about using old doors but have not had any success finding them. This would be a great alternative for me.
