Reclaimed wood old sign office wall organizer

Since working on the old signs turned paint shelf, my continued quest was to include some office type storage to the right side of the worktable.

Just a few old vertically hung boards (lettered up with stencils) ended up with a reclaimed wood old sign office wall organizer!

I call this one a mix and match look.

I was hugely inspired by Carlene of Organized Clutter, when she made this adorable vintage inspired sign set HERE all colour coordinated. So many charming variations using the grain sack lines!

So I incorporated them as well.

This wall office organizer was so easy and fun to put together!

Using a worktable as a template for the wall, chunks of boards were arranged, with random stencils placed backwards, frontwards, sideways, etc. Just a real mish mash of typography.

The vintage grain sack lines will run the entire length of one board.

They are from the Christmas Blend Hot Cocoa stencil found HERE.

The stencils and gear were actually placed at the same time, so I could figure out how to showcase the graphics the best without covering too much.

Skye gave me the knowing yawn when all was a go.

Nothing better than cat approval!

Deciding on a super clean colour palette of black, white and wood, it was time to fill in the dots.

Tip: To achieve the sharpest lines possible, make sure you tap off most of the paint before applying. A dry brush is key!

Oh, and I finally found a 2 pack stencil brush set I actually like! HERE (Amazon affiliate link) is what appears to be the same thing in a different colour. I paid over $25 Canadian for mine, so just over $13 US is a pretty hot deal!

Nice, bold letters against wood… looking great!

And now the best part… let’s hang this group up.

The boards were screwed directly into the wall, and from there, it was hang up the gear time.

I love it! High on impact, and equally productive.

Grain sack and all.

A few screws along the bottom offered a quirky way to hang more stuff, along with theming that wall up with more sign stuff!
