Welcome to Party Junk 246 – 185 Upcycled Porches and Patios
Every Friday, 7PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
One of my favourite things about summer is to park myself on my pallet sofa on my patio with my AM coffee, and greet the daily summer breeze. Ending each night with a great summer read in the same spot isn’t too shabby either! I LOVE porch and patio living so I was inspired to see what you are up to with yours…
Here are a few highlights from last weekend’s Party Junk 245…
Pavers with an outdoor swing / Forever Decorating
Terry’s husband had been collecting old pavers with words on them for awhile. Well, this summer they put them to amazing use, and created a platform for their amazing chippy bench swing! I’ll take both please. Don’t change a thing!
Pepsi crate patio tray / Pink Fortitude
When Holly moved into her home last year, the porch was a hot mess. With new paint, windows and that delicious old crate for a vintage focal point, this patio is a must tour! That vaulted ceiling… oh my.
Radio Flyer Wagon Planter / Heart Rocks in my Pocket
When Elaine was decorating her porch, she wanted to incorporate this cute wagon planter. It evokes heartwarming memories from her childhood. What a nice AND beautiful thing to reflect on! I want a wagon…
Old crate sidetable / ottoman / serving tray by Funky Junk Interiors
Desiring a side table for my pallet sofas, this crate was the ticket! But it has a few trick surprises in store…
2×4 enhanced laptop sidetable with firewood coasters / Funky Junk Interiors
Desiring a patio table suitable for a laptop, this metal frame found on the curb was perfect… after it got hit with a few reclaimed 2x4s! Cheapest solid wood top ever!
This post also includes a peek at how those firewood coasters were made.

Hi Donna,
Thanks so much for an awesome party. I wanted to let you know that I used a circular saw for the first time a couple days ago. It felt great because I was afraid to use a circular saw. Now,I am happy to say that I conquered that fear. Have a awesome weekend.
