31 Days Blog to Biz / day 25 – Join "My Story" and advice from the Nester

Wow. It’s nearly the end of this series. I thought blogging daily would be much more difficult than it has been.  But it’s really been little extra effort.

As for my ebook writing, that’s another whole story. I haven’t been putting in my 10 min of daily ebook writing  by a long shot. Heavy day job workload, lots of sideline deadlines, then composing daily posts… there’s only so many hours.  I have MUCH catching up to do!

However there’s two upcoming events I’d like to prepare you for before this series wraps up.

This is what I’m talkin’ about. The above incredible email (I had permission to post) has made blogging each day completely worthwhile. However it’s only one of a few similar emails I’ve been receiving since the start of this series.

Many of you are installing campaigns, firing up online stores, dusting off your camera manuals and starting to sell things in markets. I’ve been blown away behind the scenes and commend every single one of you!

Do you have a similar story?

Has the series helped you in any way?

If so, you’re officially invited to a special linkup on the last day of this series. I hope you’ll join in and share a post on some of the changes you’ve been busy implementing.  It’s my hope that by doing so, you’ll help further inspire those that need the slightest little nudge in the right direction… just like you did. 🙂

~ The Nester tells all ~

Aaaaand, the day before your stories, the one and only Nester from Nesting Place is going to share her secrets on all the ways she earns from her blog. You will NOT want to miss this one! I’ve changed a few things myself since reading her writeup so I know it will inspire you as well. BIG.

More great stuff ahead! I’m also interviewing an ebook AND published book writer so we’re going to get it all in!

Whadda way to end with a bang, huh?

  1. I’ve been buying, selling, and redesigning for many years, but this series has inspired me to reach much higher. Blogging has presented me with a tool with which to expand greatly. You seemed to be reading my mind with every post. I lead a very busy life. Sometimes all the ideas and possibilities swirling in my head can be overwhelming. Following this series has helped me to focus on some of the most important aspects. Thanks again, Donna.

  2. You have really inspired me – in so many ways. I had the guts to contact a BIG company to see if they’d work with me/my blog. I didn’t think I’d hear back…but I did. They asked me what I had in mind, so I gave them some great ideas. Now just waiting on their reply. But, I figured it was worth the risk and if nothing happened that I at least tried! Thank you so much!

  3. Hi Donna,

You have inspired me too! I think you have done a wonderful job at blogging everyday! This series has been so motivating and all of the information and support “priceless” You have been so generous of your time and experience. It has gone by too quickly…I will miss it when it is over!
Just so you know, this has been the push I have needed as well. Just like you have said before this has worked many times over.
You have made the difference… Your own growth has inspired new growth!
    Congratulations! Well done!
    All the Best,
    Christine

  4. Donna, I can’t express how reading your blog has helped me…from tweaking my blog to taking better pictures to looking at junk more intently…you have a great gift! I can’t wait to tell you my story…..

  5. WOW. That blew me away. I’ve enjoyed the everyday blog and will be sorry to see it come to an end but know that you have other things to do in your life in order to get on with you life. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

  6. Donna, I have appreciated every single post this month so far and this one especially. I love to hear that you inspired this woman to put a breath of fresh air back into her life and start over doing something for HER. I have tried to improve on some things with my blog, my photos and I have always looked at things a little differently, I just show it off more now. ;^)

  7. I can’t wait to see everyone’s story. Very good post Donna. You are an inspiration to a whole lot of people. Keep up the good work. Thanks so much for sharing everything with all of us.

  8. Thank you for sharing that heart-felt letter; I believe many of us have felt the same way at one point or another…You truly have been her angel.

  9. Every one of your posts are positive and encouraging–not just this series. (If you ever feel overwhelmed just remember that you are a great source of inspiration to many of us out in blogland.) Thanks for the reminder to not sit around waiting for good things to happen to us but to make our own dreams come true.

  10. Fun! that will be a great way to wrap it all up in a pretty package with a pretty bow on top. Due to daytime job duties and creating things for my 31 Days of Before & After, my blog reading time has dwindled, tonight I’m finally catching up on all my faves and trying to get some of the other 31 Days blogs read.

Changes? You betcha, tons of changes in my life through this journey. It’s been a blast and it’s been a team effort with family pitching in. I can’t wait to write it out and share with others.

    I love this blog!

  11. I was popping over here to tell you just how much I appreciate your 31 days series and saw this letter. She is so right. You are a true inspiration and I thank you for that.I have enjoyed post and learned so much! I even found a new ad company for my blog! Thank you again Donna.

  12. I haven’t stuck with my photograpy practice by the book in 10 minutes a day either. But I have met another goal of getting signs listed on my website. I have been a painting fool but fail to get them listed. Pretty hard to make sales if you don’t even take the time to offer them. I am sure you will get that e-book done.

  13. Oh, this is FANTASTIC!! You really have been a huge encouragement!! I’m looking forward to the link party…to sitting down and analyzing all the fantastic ways that being a part of this wonderful group of people called “Bloggers” would be. I had NO IDEA!!! Really, it’s been one of the most worthwhile and rewarding things I have done in my life! Finding this way to express and challenge myself, to find a way to see God working in my life and find the daily good in it amidst the dirty diapers, the household disasters, the homeschool dazed expressions, it’s been what I REALLY needed… and finding others who have tried to eek out their dreams through their own environments has been AMAZING!!! The sharing of ideas, making great things from next to nothing, the encouragement to be who you are where you are, it is priceless!!! Thank you!!

  14. Well it’s after 3 am here and I am wide awake! AGAIN! Reading this makes me realize I am not alone. Something inside of me is yearning to find my place, make my place, live the dream I’ve always wanted. I’m not totally sure what it is but closer than I have ever been, I think! The story you shared is much like mine, I am on the cusp of an empty nest and seeing clearly it’s my time to do what I have always set aside. This ride with you for the last 24 days has been great fuel! Thanks bunches!!!

  15. Just had a chance to read this beautiful post – it actually gave me chills! The good kind when something touches your heart. I am so happy for the writer and hope her dream comes true. I agree with so many comments, you are always encouraging and immensely inspirational! Thank you for this series and for all you share with us.
And what an awesome way to wrap this series up – I can’t wait! You are one amazing gal.

  16. How true all of the comments are..You have inspired me to where I did my first craft show on Oct.22nd and have my second one on Nov.12th..I have never had so much fun..Thanks a million..
