When Linda invited me to Bella Rustica, I knew she was welcoming me into her beautiful home. In fact, I stayed there several nights before heading out to an amazing little rental house closer to the event. (more on that sweet thing soon!)
What I DIDN’T expect is to discover what a junker Linda is!
Oh gosh, you have no idea. I can now see why this sweet and beautiful gal is intrigued running all things vintage. Her house is tweaked to perfection with all the stuff I love.
I walked into the house and basically ran from vignette to vignette, clicking like mad, exclaiming, “So… you don’t mind that I’m taking pictures of your house, right?” (like she had a choice)
Linda thinks she has nothing to look at. PA!!!! So very wrong.
Let’s snoop, shall we?
I have ALWAYS wanted to do this to a grouping of clocks, and then BAM there it was.
LOVE and JEALOUS all in one fell swoop.
And then I turn around and SHAZAM, another mirrors on a wall dream of mine. Nothing to look at heeeere….
(I really don’t say shazam but couldn’t think of anything else that created lighting)
I die. These hats on the mirror with another hat on top is adorable!
This cutie pie mini shelf was above the stove. I’d bet it’s ancient.
And then there was this amazing hutch filled to the brim with rust and mason jars and…
… what’s that? F u n k y ….
Ok. I was completely and utterly honoured she attempted. 🙂
This girl is also one amazing junkin’ crafter. She’s creating tin can flowers. Tin cans. Flowers. Seriously… stinking adorable.
Ok, and then she told me I was getting HER bedroom. “Oh no no I can’t do that… no no put me up in the hallway or ? but no no, I can’t take your bedro……”
“I CHANGED MY MIND!”
Stunning, sharp black against creams with a touch of gold and sage to warm things up.
Crazy gorgeous.
She can never EVER enter my home. Unless blindfolded.
Not to mention me needing 5 years advance notice to shovel out the corners.
Where’s her BAD junk?!
Did you notice how she hung the window treatments? How cool is that?
This luscious little rusty something or other hung all her jewelry.
I wanted to steal that studded leather cuff but she woulda figured that out.
Seriously…
… there’s nothin’ to look at here.
Linda, you went completely out of your way to put me up. Thank you so very much for treating me like a movie star every step of the way. Your home is gorgeous and yes, you have so very much to look at.
No wonder I want to go back…
Miss you, friend. xo

I had no idea Linda’s house looked like this! And I was so close……next time I’m gonna raid it, with or without an invite! lol
I spied a darling little set of angel wings on a small stand – total love. I need to see where she got those. You’re right, every little nook seems to be perfection. LOVE that chandy in the landing. Glad you’re a camera junkie. 🙂
Thanks, Polly! You just drop in anytime if you’re coming to see me; if you’re coming to see the house? Call First! Ha!

What a fun house!
What’s the rusty thing the jewelry is on? I’m trying to figure it out. It’s like a mystery!
It looks like an old plant stand.
I love the window treatments!! I might have to borrow/steal that idea 😉
Beautiful home. I like the clock display it’s so whimsical.
What a fun tour! it was beautiful. I like that little pie shelf. I can’t believe how you’ve inspired me to look around and SEE what’s out there!
I started to say I love the clocks! No, the mirrors! No, the bedroom! I can’t decide! I love it ALL!

Wow, that’s some seriously delicious eye candy. Can she come and work her magic on my house. I would just die to have that much beauty surrounding me every day. Even her junk looks good!
Whoa, whoa, whoa!! Style plus junk, a rare combination. I love that it is so unstudied. It looks like she just threw the stuff on the wall. I think you have the start of a book here. All species of junk collectors. City, country, formal, not, Canadian, American. Doesn’t her room make you want to get a black bed? Is that two bottles of Perrier in the cowboy boots? I’m pinning the mirrors, okay? Ann
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT ALL! YES, I AM TYPING IN CAPS. LOL.
Wonderful post!
UMMM… Yes. Crazy, beautiful decor.

Thanks for sharing her amazing decor. I had to pin this!
Debbie 🙂
Lots of great stuff – but my favorite (made me say “wow!” out loud to myself!!) is the spindle curtain rods. They are so perfect!!! Now I’m wishing I had higher ceilings…
WOW. Such a pretty pretty home. Junk & all. Loved the bedroom & the boots! Thank you for sharing.
Beautful..I love the mirror wall and the way she hung the curtains in the bedroom.
Hi. I love the pictures… Right now, I have about 6 or 7 beautiful mirrors in my garage… a mix of styles from MCM to art deco. They usually come free with the old dressers I buy. What a fun idea to mount a mix of mirrors on a large wall as you show in one of the pictures in this post. Thanks for inspiring.
OOZING with creativity! What a lovely home and hostess. Thank you for sharing!
What an amazing home–I pinned a bunch! Thank you for sharing this with us, Donna! Have a great weekend.
Beautiful! But I didn’t expect anything less from Linda! The house is who she is! Love all the details. It is why her sale is so successful! Can’t wait for you to come back! Thanks for the peek!
I love her bedroom curtains I wish I could see how she attaches the lower part of the curtain to the wall..darn sun is too bright!!
I love her bedroom curtains I wish I could see how she attached the bottom half of the curtain to the wall…darn sun is too bright!!
I am totally doing that mirror on the stairwell thing! Now, to get enough mirrors … the search is on!

Love the clock wall. I do not have any clocks on the wall because the noise drives me crazy when my house is quiet but I would so do this.
