PJ 330 – DIY salvaged junk projects
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Happy weekend, friends!
I am home from our NYC trip, and goodness…do I have stories to share and pics to show you!
I nearly typed out my first post last night, but got overwhelmed when I uploaded all the photos from both phone and camera. I glanced at the clock reading 12:30 am, and decided to go to bed instead… 🙂 This is gonna take some serious thought!
But in other good news, I started a DIY yesterday too. My front door is getting makeover, thanks to a new paint delivery that inspired me to rip open the box, and start painting while still housing my pjs… don’t you love spontaneous projects? While in pjs? 🙂
Ohh…. and new stencils for a NEW design arrived!! Should be ready to roll out in about a couple of weeks… and this round, I’m teaming up with other bloggers for added inspiration! Sign up for the stencil email alert HERE
So until all that transpires, let’s dive in over our heads in the very best of ways, with what you’ve delivered here on Party Junk from the past 2 weeks…
Betsy has me wanting to pull out my Christmas decorations again, after I saw this! Oh my goodness… what an amazing repurpose for those vintage light reflectors…
Here’s the perfect example of why thrift store shopping still has a special place in my heart. Piece your finds like a puzzle, and see what you get! Isn’t this clever?
Taryn had me at the wood and chain… isn’t this one gorgeous way to hang artwork? So industrially beautiful and simple!
Yes please Mary, I’ll take 4, one each for my kitchen windows and a larger one for the front door. Because this is perfection! My address is…
Seriously, you start with something EVERYONE has, and build it from there… full tutorial avail!
Julia’s creations always plant a smile on my junk appreciating face… I love how she utilized baking things to make… a baker! I wonder what a ‘junker’ would look like? Oh, and feel free to name her Funky Junk Donna… 😉
Industrial farmhouse cutting board, by Thistlewood Farms
Yes, I know. KariAnne’s clean, gorgeous kitchen in itself is worthy of a feature alone. But let’s zone in on that adorable cutting board on wheels… WANT! Bet my teen son would adore that for his dinner plate…
Dear Jane, I adore your hidden surprise in this vintage laundry tub planter SO much like you have no idea… but the planter alone is gorgeous!
Wouldn’t it also be a super cool potting bench with wood planks across the top? I need this.
SERIOUSLY… Larissa’s junky light move had me wondering where on earth I’d land a wooden clamp like this. Isn’t this antique light spectacular? ADORE the simple lines.
A simple, glass faced cabinet from a thrift store resulted in THIS! I’m so inspired, Angie… my mind is racing!
I’ll take that wall too. And now I want a draped sheet for window treatments too.
See how this junk thing can take over your life?!
So, what did you make this past week?
No need to link back. A share of the top graphic and clicking through your fav features to pin would be great instead! 🙂
