DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 352
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Hello friends, and welcome November! Wow.
Just when we’re getting use to fall, I feel the need for a little prep Christmas wise this month. It feels early, but it really isn’t if you desire to have time to make cool stuff. I made my first Christmas project this week!
Glad to see I’m in good company, based on your own projects. When do you start thinking about Christmas?
So here’s a little fall, Christmas and everything in between that you pulled out last weekend…
DIY reclaimed wood Sleigh Rides Christmas and winter sign, by Grit Antiques
I’ve always believed, a sign of an authentic looking sign is to use authentically looking wood. Jane has officially proved my point!
But you have to click through to see this entire magical display to Jane’s booth, filled to the brim with vintage sleighs… oh my word…
Sleigh Rides is a stencil – details in post.
Repurposed fall themed dustpan wreath, by Knick of Time
Good to see Angie knows when it pays to argue over a dustpan. I’d claim this rusty beauty too! LOVE the fall wreath idea so much!
Have you bought a shiny new one for the hubby yet? 🙂
Repurposed barrel hoop mirror, by Scavenger Chic
Just when I thought Joan went shopping at HomeGoods…. she creates this masterpiece from barrel scraps.
Doesn’t this look like a high end reproduction? But better, because it’s real. Sheesh… when is YOUR line coming out, Joan?
Repurposed cutting board wall pocket decor, by Organized Clutter
Carlene, you are making me want to move to your neck of the woods. Your collection of bread boards slays me! Love this sweet wall pocket idea!
The post showcases 2 other display ideas too!
Repurposed vintage heat register plate magazine holders, by Rescue Rehab
Marti, you are so clever. I have one of these plates in my stash I nearly tossed. Now THIS is gorgeous, and useful! I could see storing paperwork near an office with this. So cool.
Repurposed door farmhouse shutters, by The Painted Hinge
Yeah… but no. It really isn’t what you think. You MUST see what Michelle used to make these shutters! So genius! Why build from scratch, when you can do this?
All season interchangeable wire coat hook shelf, by Funky Junk Interiors
Don’t let the fall message fool you. It turns into something else too… to chime in with ALL seasons!
And then there’s the wire hanger coat hooks idea… make your own cheap (free!) hooks!
Haunted thrift store figurines, by Sadie Seasongoods
Some projects are soooooo clever, you are left wordless! Sarah, Sarah, Sarah… now everything I see will have beady little red eyes…
Easy, instant jack o lanterns, by Thrifty Rebel Vintage
Don’t like messy carving? I LOVE Tuula’s take on what a pumpkin could be! This seriously is junk-tastic.

Hey Donna! Thanks for choosing my repurposed farmhouse shutters as one of your features this week! Have a great weekend! 🙂
Hi Donna, thanks again for your PJ 352. Revamping a very old wall shelf takes more time/work than planned, another stage is finished but the repair/fixing continues. Great idea with your 4″ blocks and wire hangers.
Joy
Thanks for the party, Donna–have a great weekend!
Hi Donna, I hope it is ok to link our bunny here today, but he is sitting in an old crate….LOL
