DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 357
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Hello friends!
I’m a little late in getting this post ready. Features are up, but descriptions still to come!
Will be complete in about 15 minutes. But at least you have the nitty gritty!
Or maybe you’ll go ahead and tell me this is all that’s needed anyway… and if that’s the case, I can unbag my groceries and shovel my driveway I suppose… 🙂
Lemme know… do you miss the ramblings or is it nicer quieter? 🙂
Edited to add: Well, it felt too quiet to leave things as is, so rambling it is!
Tea strainer Christmas ornaments, by Sadie Seasongoods
I’m starting to think I should start drinking tea… these strainers are darling! But what they became, even moreso. Cool industrial edge to them as ornaments!
My mom used the large one stuffed with dill for homemade soup! Fun memory.
Frosted branch Christmas tree, by Pillar Box Blue
This year I decorated all faux for Christmas. But this cute little branch tree has me pining for otherwise! Maybe next year… but I love this so much.
Scrap wood snowflake signs or pictures, by My Love 2 Create
Is there anything prettier than white snowflakes on reclaimed wood? I think not! So in love with these pictures… signs… call them what you may. I’ll just call them gorgeous!
Farmhouse pulley and bucket planters for Christmas, by Redo it yourself Inspirations
This gorgeous pulley is doing double duty for the Christmas season. Love how this hanging option offers you more impact, yet still showcases like one single display. So rustically pretty!
Farmhouse coffee table sign, by Organized Clutter
I’m falling hard for white, black, grey and red these days. So needless to say, Carlene slam dunked this one, farmhouse style no less. So clean! Love the positioning of FARM HOUSE with the stars.
Reclaimed wood Christmas stars, By Scavenger Chic
Who else just wants these to hang on their Christmas tree this year? Joan, I’ll take 2 dozen! There is NOTHING like authentic chippy wood!
Curb side frame DIY Advent Calendar, by My Creative Days
I wish I found pretty frames like this on my curb. This is beautiful! And the advent idea just made it even sweeter.
Christmas Tree pallet crate, by Beyond The Picket Fence
Not being much of a tree skirt person myself, I’m high fiving Becky for this sweet DIYed crate design. Love the stencilled text, pallet stamped style! Neat trick on how to make a shorter tree taller is inside this post too.
You Cut Tree Christmas sign and vignette, by Garden Up Green
I may not be very (ahem) objective on this one, but I sure think Christmas signs are one of the best seasonal decor accessories. They SCREAM the theme. As does the case with this cute rendition. Love the sage green which just seems to infuse a forest of fragrant trees waiting to be brought indoors…
Vintage button snowman Christmas gift tags, by Raggedy Bits
I’m so ashamed to admit I BOUGHT tacky Christmas tags this year. Because I love THIS idea so much more! I’m going to look for buttons and twine regardless! Goodness, this is beautiful.
How to turn a plank into a Sleigh Rides Arrow sign, by Funky Junk Interiors
Speaking of Christmas signs, here’s a nifty trick on turning any plain plank into an arrow sign… sleigh rides style of course!
Toolbox shelf hot cocoa station, by Funky Junk Interiors
And if you have an old wooden toolbox, maybe it’s really a shelf in disguise… 🙂

Love your new “Sleigh Rides” sign Donna. Great features this week, too. I also featured Robin’s pulley & bucket planters at my party–loved it! Thanks for the party and hope you have a great weekend–
PS I enjoy your ramblings 🙂
Thank you Donna for PJ 357. The snowfall is providing some great backgrounds this weekend.

Thank you so very much for featuring my little snowmen tags Donna!! A perfect way to start the weekend for sure!!
No stopping with your ramblings because that’s what keeps it all real with what happens in day to day life.
PS I am in total love with your Sleigh Rides Arrow sign! Once I get the whole cutting things straight thing under my belt I would love to try and make an arrow!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend 🙂

Thanks for the feature on my farmhouse table. I just love all of your stencils! They make decorating so fun!
Thanks Donna for the feature – I don’t have anything to share this week but I do enjoy coming by to take a peak at what others are doing. Hope you have a great weekend.
I can’t get over your toolbox shelf, Donna! Such a clever use with so many options. Thanks for hosting the great features and ideas. AND, thank you so much for highlighting my pulley planter!
Have a happy weekend!!!
It’s been a while since I had an upcycle to share, but glad to be back at your party this week.
Happy Weekend!

Thanks for hosting, Donna! Love how you added the pillow stuffing to your little tree. I use it everywhere at Christmas, and love putting some over the Christmas tree lights, too for a wonderful, snowy glow! So cheap, yet so pretty.
Thank you for hosting the party. Enjoy your weekend.
P.S. I like the rambling 🙂
Thank you so much for featuring my tree crate! Your stencils are what made it special!
Some really great ideas this week, Donna. I especially enjoyed the tea strainer/ornaments and the buckets on the pulley. Good inspiration all!
Donna,
Loved all the clever ideas in your post…keep those ramblings coming!
Have a wonderful wintery weekend.
Love all of these fun ideas!
