DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 358
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Hello, and a happy winter weekend to you!
Back to my old tricks again, you may already know I’m currently enjoying winter among the palm trees. My old Maui stomping ground feels like my 2nd tropical home at this point, so I will somehow make do without the snow and bitter cold we are currently experiencing at my #1 home! 🙂
I’ll share more about my island adventures once home, but you can catch lots of short video clips on Instagram stories as they transpire. Just watch for the rusty gear across the top!
So… here are some amazing features from last weekend’s link party…
Curtain rod finial Christmas trees, by The Navage Patch
Oh. My. Gosh. This post is a must read, or you won’t be able to appreciate how these whimsical trees were made. State of the art genius!
Spindle votive candles, by My Creative Days
How absolutely stunning is this assemblage of spindle candles? Goodness… adoring those varying heights.
Pedestal snow globe jars, by Homeroad
Stand aside, mason jar snow globes… these pedestal types kick that idea up a few notches! Don’t they look so elegant? Loving the flat topped jars!
Snowshoe Christmas card front door wreath, By Sadie Seasongoods
This little snowshoe offered the perfect wintery backdrop for this creative door wreath idea… that displays Christmas cards no less. SO COOL.
Vintage dresser mirror Christmas fireplace mantel, by Organized Clutter
Carlene’s mantels are always the best junk assemblage around. This post also showcases MANY of her very best! But this year’s neutral one is truly wintery perfection!
Outdoor themed cozy Christmas sitting area, by Design, Dining and Diapers
If this setting doesn’t make you want to dash out in the snow for a sleigh ride, I don’t know what would. What a gorgeous way to unwind for the holidays!
Chalkboard and metal snow village, by Finding Home Farms
The chalkboard nighttime sky is SUCH a genius backdrop for this little metal snow village! PERFECT for a mantel.
Stacked crates and baskets Christmas tree, by A Pocketful of Blue
Inspired by another’s stacked crate Christmas tree (was it Finding Home’s HERE?), this sweet neutral rendition perks up this area, in true rustic style. LOOOOOVE the look, and the little tree is the coolest topper.
Pallet wood framed hot cocoa chalkboard recipe, by Knick of Time
This gorgeous rustic chalkboard is of the permanent variety! Really cool technique to keeping a special recipe or saying intact for the long term.
Rustic Christmas tree in a crate with living room tour
This rustic crate became the perfect tree skirt for this little faux tree, complete with an old saw You Cut sign. This post is also part of a Christmas junk inspired living room home tour.
Stencilled snowflake pillow design, by Funky Junk Interiors
Inspired to keep the black and white theme going on the new sofa, a stencilled snowflake pillow became the wintery star of this show. Made in MINUTES.
Rustic reversible coasters as gifts, by Funky Junk Interiors
Desiring to give away 4 Starbucks gift cards, these reversible coasters became part of the gift! Visit the post link to see the everyday crate version.
