Hey!! Happy weekend!
It’s been a DIY kinda week around these parts. I finally implemented my own take on a rustic clock totally decked out in junk, AND ended revamping my indoor tool station, thanks to little squishy mason jars. Feeling accomplished!
In other exciting news… hmm. I don’t have any. 🙂 I’m currently trying to focus on what to work on next. Guess I’d better start cleaning again to get inspired! I’m still working on the ‘finish the house’ and ‘clean like you’re a vacation rental’ mantras, so my list is still very, very long. Currently trying to unload some junk to sell to lighten the load. Purging never stops for a collector, does it?
Speaking of (over) collecting, I wrote a new post for eBay not published on my blog, on 6 Secrets To Successful Shopping From A Past Hoarder. (thank you if you click over! The visit helps support Funky Junk!)
Now to keep that non hoarding up… 🙂
So! Here are some gorgeous highlights from last week’s party…
If you are desiring a shelf with instant character, this genius soil sifter idea is it!
I have two! I think I’ll rethink how I”m currently using them after this beautiful project!
This lovely tray design becomes effortless to recreate, thanks to a printable! Love this super clean subway styled look!
I am currently on the lookout for the perfect baking pan, thanks to this genius take on a farmhouse styled cake stand. LOVE how to like minded components can work so well together!
And then there’s that cake…
A classic old window is the perfect excuse to execute a new coffee table. Love the see through display case this design hosts!
One gaze through this charming guest room, which is actually a separate cottage, will have you looking through Air BNB listings wishing for availability! It’s like a super glam She-Shed!
So after you make that awesome cake stand, it’s time to serve coffee with these adorable coasters. Gah!! I love how striking the black and white graphics are against the tin.
Get an indoor plant AND beautiful, heartfelt decor piece all-in-one with this lovely rendition of a resurrection garden using clay pots!
Yes, they DO look like Easter eggs! What a fabulous excuse to bring out the bright, vivid paint colours! Would make fun mini trays for easter as well!
Because rustic clocks are such a thing right now, I had to, HAD TO implement my own twist to one. Now to find a real clock kit…
Squishy mason jars inspired a revamp of this table top turned mini tool station. Now I want one upstairs too!
