Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 406
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Welcome to an explosion of Christmas infused junk!
And hey… I even made a couple of things this week!
But my biggest struggle is apparently the time change. It’s due to start raining again this weekend so I’ve really pushed myself out during those sunny, windy cold days to get a little bike riding in before the rain hits. But goodness… between having to have all DIY photos done and a 2 hour trail ride a done deal by 4pm is a struggle! Anyone else feeling it too?
Regardless, I made myself stay home the odd day to get some stuff done.
Faux industrial cart crate side table by Funky Junk Interiors
Who makes furniture this time of year again?! Apparently I do… a couple of crates got a pretend rustic cart treatment with some found rusty junk. Fun and easy project!
With still time left for a bike ride. heh.
Rustic branches and deer head Christmas mantel by Funky Junk Interiors
Dashing outdoors for a few storm blown branches was a great start to getting this year’s Christmas mantel up and running. Tips on how to get a zillion branches to stay put are included in this post.
Now, let’s check out what jaw dropping goodness you brought last weekend…
Can you even believe this rust isn’t the real deal? AMAZING treatment! And those are some sweet ornaments.
These quilt squares are genius. They give you the wood look without all that intricate wood laying work! These are stencils offered by Angie. Click this link to view the adorable coaster size too!
Make sure you read the title again because it’s no lie. Floored! Literally. Stunning room too!
I can only imagine how wonderful this little genius tree would sound if it was placed outside on a windy front porch. LOVE the gold bells!
Speaking of bells, molds layered with other goodness are on today’s vintage list. These guys host the perfectly charming industrial bling!
Don’t throw those evergreen branches out! Here’s how to make them into wreaths with substance! These are gorgeous.
Well my goodness… I do believe I am inspired to round up a couple of stumps and solar lights for my own front walkway. LOVE this look!
This little neglected dresser gets a beautiful holiday makeover, and you get a little heartfelt lesson on utilizing the gifts you have been given. Super nice message.
Twigs are my friends, and these illuminated twig trees are needed in my home NOW. Just adore. I wanted to stop decorating but I realized just now that I am missing my yearly twig project fix… hmmm…
I honestly wasn’t sure when the festive spirit would hit full throttle… until my eyes landed on this porch. Doesn’t it just tell such an amazing story? Still chuckling over that perfect shovel message…
