Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 525
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Boy, our weather has been cooler than usual for this time of year. Lots of rain in the mix.
Which led to more puzzle time. I don’t normally do puzzles but started for mini mind escapes, so I made a project around my ‘lack of work’… LOL
So I created the ultimate puzzle board out of a bulletin board! So easy to move around now! Plus it has a surprise on the other side… click the link to check it out!
I really think there may be something to this, ‘live life then blog about it’ vs. creating for a blog…
I’ve also pressure washed my front driveway and house yesterday so it’s now time to paint some trim, change the door colour, and add some fun stuff! Today is our only sunny day for a spell, so I’m typing as fast as I can so I can get out there! YAY!
How are you keeping busy these days? What are you currently working on? Are you a puzzle person too or what do you work on to take mini mental vacations?
Anyway, you guys sure inspired me with these features from last week’s party… I’m already on the lookout for the perfect flannel shirt, tissue box, concrete mix among other things!
DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 525 features:
Got a plain flannel shirt handy? Ramp it up a few thousand notches with a STENCIL. I would have never thought of this. I love this look and am going to do something similar as soon as the thrift stores re-open! Visit the link for all the details.
If you are a rustic industrial decorator, you are going to adore this tutorial! It shares how to concrete-up anything! Adoring this wreath and bird rendition for spring… isn’t it precious?! I want to try this! Click the link for the full tutorial.
It’s not what you think! You MUST click this link to fully appreciate this post. This is made from a tissue box… oh my word. What a fabulous tutorial… click link to read!
I adore book projects but many book lovers don’t like to see vintage books tampered with. So here’s an EPIC idea using plywood! Wow! And I must say, the denim book covers are adorable… Visit the link to learn how.
You know those rooms with doorways but perhaps what’s inside them may not be the best view or perhaps you want more privacy? Ribbons filling the doorway are such a cool idea! And why not twine or rope for a more rustic approach? My mind is reeling now! Visit this link for the full tour!
I LOVE 3D art and this one does it! This amazing tutorial shares how to cut a tea cup in half to mount on a wall for a wall vase or art! So cool! I’m already dreaming up what else I can cut in half to do this!
