New Upcycle Ideas 681
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Greetings! We just climbed down from another heat wave, so the relief of clouds with rain is so welcome! Plus, what better time to tackle some indoor projects?
My list is long… but I seem to be locked into summertime mode. Have any tips on keeping on task? Because this girl is not shining in that way at the moment! Lazier summer days have officially set in.
I have been sharing a few project examples I’ve done with the newer stencils just released though. No blog posts yet to accompany them!
And after two long years, I finally figured out how to change the oil in my gas-run pressure washer. This was big. And I’ve been actively collecting reclaimed wood, and even landed a few wooden hanging baskets I’d like to do something creative with. If you want to keep up to speed, follow my Instagram stories.
In other news, How to edge flowerbeds like a pro is my current #1 post. Which is something I also need to redo by the way! Whadda way to get reminded, huh?
So until I figure out a good strong sharing plan for next week, let’s get inspired with these fabulous repurposed project features from last week’s party post…

Gorgeous DIY ruffled flour sack tea towels
These lovely flower sack tea towels wearing gorgeous long ruffles sure beats the boring tea towels I’m currently using! Hmm… maybe it’s time to put the sewing machine back together again. Visit this tutorial to see a few more examples! Loving the stenciled variation as well!
Colourful candle snuffers into garden flowers
Ok collectors, put brass candle snuffers on your list so you too can create these charming outdoor candles for garden art! Aren’t they the perfect shape?! And what a fun way to add a pop of colour right where your garden could use it most!
Enchanting bark covered fairy gypsy wagon from a tin can
For those who adore fairy garden features, here’s a gem of a project to make starting with a tin can! But this enchanting fairy gypsy wagon absolutely requires a visit inside… you just wait! I want a life-sized one in my yard please.
Easy and affordable DIY wooden patio lantern
Just when I was shopping for (rather expensive) patio lanterns, this fabulously easy and affordable DIY wooden patio lantern housing a battery operated candle pops up! What perfect timing since our string lights stopped working… Love this look which could be customized to suit!
Fabric or paper Chrysanthemum flowers decor
I’m such a big fan of the fabric creations Claire comes up with, so let’s add another to the list from this fan girl! These enchanting chrysanthemum flowers can be made from either fabric or paper using this flower tutorial! All you need to start with is a styrofoam ball…
