New Upcycle Ideas 739
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Greetings all! Hope you are also enjoying the dog days of summer! Our hot, humid weather of late is certainly continuing to reminding us that summer is indeed still here!
I’ve been puttering in the yard, but only enough to maintain. The new bird feeding station has turned out to be such a joy with the bustle of activity around the garden shed! It makes for a pretty fun focal point.
While I haven’t completed any projects to showcase on the blog, I have been belting out some pretty creative videos that will be ultimately shared on the Hometalk platform HERE! What a blast. Everything I make for them is something I have never done before so I’m really upping the ante on trying new things.
Now I just have to get better at doubling my work production so I can provide both! Wish me luck…
So for this weekend, let’s check out some fabulous upcycled projects from last week’s party… and all the new linkups that will be added as well!

This is the story of how one project can easily morph into two… thanks to capturing drips from the original! Grab some coarse salt and resin to create one-of-a-kind rock candy styled vases and bowls made from a dollar tree vase!
DIY ottoman made with pool noodles
Pool Noodle ottoman by Sonata Home Design
It’s certainly not every day you hear about pool noodle furniture that doesn’t look anything like pool noodles! Yet this is the base of this clever ottoman furniture design and it doesn’t appear to look that complicated to make!
