Greetings all!
How’s your holiday DIYs coming along? My son was not impressed we didn’t have our tree up yet, so yesterday he carted it upstairs, and threatened to put lights on it. That got me swingin’ in full gear! See, I don’t like light cords showing in case I take pics of the tree. No worries, he was hoping for this exact reaction so that smarty got two wishes that came true. LOL
Here’s the thing. When you need your decor for shoots, I’d be pulling everything off the tree to use it, so we run late each year. When the work is done, then we can decorate. Unless I buy more decorations and lights of course! That may be a needed thing at this point because goodness gracious… I should be sharing this stuff at least a month ago.
Ah well. I did get around to sharing one new project I’m really thrilled about!

Wood Chevron Christmas tree with wood scrap presents
This gorgeous chevron styled wood Christmas tree is so pretty! And honestly couldn’t be easier to make using my method. Strips of wood are outfitted on top of a stenciled template to get this easy and dreamy high-end look!
With so much more to come so I best get busy! So until then, let’s check out this week’s upcycled project highlights from last week’s party, then visit all the new additions below!

I love how high-end stores can inspire us to create in new and unique ways! And such is the case with this incredibly gorgeous tree star topper! This white Christmas tree star looks positively wintery with those sweet white pom poms, so much so I would be placing it in another spot after Christmas! So gorgeous!
