Happy New Year!
Are you back at it yet? Or starting in slow like me?
Today I worked on a puzzle while I got a few loads of laundry underway, so with a little work and play involved I’m calling that a good enough start! However with Christmas decorating already down thanks to needing my spaces for new creations, I will deem next week a full-on work week!
This past week I did sneak in my Christmas home tour, which transpired by a fluke of sorts. With two cats sick, I removed Christmas-everything to rule out those potentials, so I wasn’t even sure I would decorate. However since they improved right before Christmas, I bolted for the outdoors to collect a million evergreen branches and decked the house out! It turned out so cozy and abundant, regardless of the top speed! So I did a quick shoot and…

… this is the result! Come on over for the full tour, which includes different ways to use real evergreen branches and much more! Wait until you see the kitchen windows… something I have never done before!
While I wasn’t sure if I’d run the party this week, I decided to go for it. Even if you didn’t create anything new in the past week, this is a great time to add your best-of type of posts, or simply add your fav projects of 2024 separately so we have lots to visit in order to see your very best!
So let’s get this fab party started! Here’s the features from last week’s party with the new linkups below!

Winter scene wood slice decoration
Wood slice mini winter scene by Steph Creates Things
Ever wish you had a small shelf sitter because space is tight? Grab a wood round, then a few minis to create a mini winter wonderland out of anything you have! In this cse, a little truck and camper towing a Christmas tree in the snow is perfection to keep up all winter long! What would you create?
Egg carton Christmas angels
Christmas angels from egg cartons by Seasons Blog
Have you ever thought of turning plain egg cartons into charming rustic angle ornaments?! You’ll want to save this project for next Christmas, because it’s a good one, especially if you like unique Christmas decorations! So darling!
Christmas snowman in a cone ornament
Snowman cone ornament by Little Vintage Cottage
This adorable snowman cone ornament reminds me of a snow cone! After a lucky Goodwill find, this project came together quickly, perfectly themed for all winter long! I love that it’s large enough to stand on its own somewhere, or still compact enough to hang on a larger Christmas tree if desired!
Unique Chosen Christmas tree
Chosen movie-inspired Christmas tree by Homeward Found Decor

Thank you for featuring my winter wood slice scenery. I’m glad you liked it. Wishing you a wonderful New Year!:)
I love your fireplace with the Christmas decorations. Thank you so much for choosing my little angels.
Donna, thank you so much for your kind words and inclusion of my ‘Chosen’ Christmas tree decor in this week’s feature. I had a lot of fun coming up with ideas for it! You’re absolutely right, it does have a great deal of meaning to me, as does the streaming tv show that it is based on.
I just love the Christmas decor that you created in your home this year – the fact that you did it all last minute, without a plan, is proof that sometimes we just gotta’ take a chance and give things a chance to work out! (I see it as a bonus that it’s got such a wintery vibe – you could leave it up until spring!;) )
