Greetings all!
How’s your cleaning and organizing efforts going? I did some unexpected organizing thanks to a new video session for Hometalk, and boy is it ever so much easier to work on a project now! So I am starting to reap the benefits, even though I wasn’t really feeling a big pull to do more. It’s your future self that will thank you greatly, even though your present self may find cleaning utterly boring!
I also have a short and sweet project to share next week because my other mantra is to fix up what needs fixing rather than just finding more stuff to make more stuff! So stay tuned… it’s a cutie!
And also in the hopper are two other projects I’m working on at the same time. If you’d like a sneak peek, be sure to follow along on Instagram stories to get live tips and tricks while I press on!
Speaking of cleaning and organizing, I’d like to invite creatives to share their favorite organizing / cleaning / storage projects in this week’s linkup in addition to your latest! Let’s all get super inspired to DO THIS RIGHT!
Here’s one of my favs for organizing my paint…
DIY adjustable wood shelves for paint storage
Adjustable reclaimed wood paint shelves
When I needed more space in my paint studio, I decided to pull out the reclaimed wood to create adjustable shelves to house both tools and paint! This area is still going strong as-is to this day so it was a worthwhile upgrade!
So let’s now visit these unique features from last week’s party, then get onto the new additions!

Donna, your suggestion to link up our best organizing tips sent me on a WILD goose chase tonight, looking for a post that I remembered writing for an online magazine and then shared on my blog…. it took me awhile searching through my archives, but I finally located it and linked it up here.
As I read through it, I realized it was written and published online for Vintage Indie Magazine in 2011, then as a post on my blog in January of 2013 – and that perhaps I need to re-publish it again so the info might help my newer readers. Thanks for the nudge, my friend!
Organization is not my strong suit! I did however, clean out & organize my spice cabinet. I had so many expired spices that it left me with a bunch of metal spice boxes for my next craft project! Hope to share that soon.
Thanks for hosting. Have a great weekend.
