Happy Easter!
Here’s wishing you a wonderful weekend of fun, laughs, and creating new, meaningful memories with those you love! I’m just glad I whipped up this pretty flower arrangement last week which feels just SO right this time of year!
My son is on a carnivore diet so he won’t touch anything other than meat. So I think I’m going to hide a few clothing pieces I told him were for his bday. Way more productive than chocolate, am I right?!
I’m just good with a loaf of Paska, which is a sweet bread covered in icing. I really ought to make my own but when you have a deli just down the road that does a fantastic job, I must ask why I need to. I’d rather be in a chair with a coffee or riding my bike! But one day I’d like to try my Mom’s recipe to help carry on the family tradition. What Easter tradition do you practice each year?
Part 3 – Inflatable hot tub setup
In other news, we’re midway to setting up our hot tub again. We’re going to get it up earlier this year to get more use out of it. We’ve both been sore lately and have craved a nice hot dip in the evenings, so by this weekend it will be running! I ordered a fancy new cover baffle for it to keep the rainwater off and since it just arrived, it’s time.
So until there’s more to share in my world, let’s enjoy the leisurely pace of all things Easter while appreciating the upcycle features from last week’s party plus all the new additions!

Spring lampshade cloche with bunny by Homeward Found Decor
Nothing spells spring more than moss. However, add some clay pots, a bunny figurine plus a lampshade cloche, you have a full-out Easter-themed display that is so incredibly unique and darling! Adore the mix of lay, moss and a chocolate looking bunny… this is positively the vibe we are all striving for this weekend!
Deb, you may just have challenged me to do something fun with my stack of lampshades.

Easter bunny treat bag by Hello Sewing
If you’re ho hum over a traditional Easter basket, now here’s a unique way to gift those Easter treats, with a bunny-themed treat bag! I love how the bag itself becomes a keepsake that can be used year after year. And it’s so very simple to make out of scrap material you may have on hand!

Just when you think you’ve seen every carrot DIY around, THIS proves you have not! Oh my… the texture on this string art carrot is absolutely amazing! Aren’t the greens so realistic? They remind me of lettuce! This one’s a must to peek at.
