Happy weekend!

And boy was it a hot day today here on the west coast of BC, Canada. My tolerance for heat has seriously bottomed out in the past few years, so I wasted NO time in changing out to my summer bedroom quilt, and setting up the air conditioners… and have them running too!

Laugh if we must, however I don’t care what the date says on the calendar, I’m going by the temperature indoors, and today my easy-bake-oven-house slowed me down. So I nipped it in the bud!

I’ve also slowly been working in the yard with pressure washing and the weeding, so hopefully if my back and neck hold, I can finish a few areas enough to share. I also really want to get to Costco and pick up my yearly ferns. I nearly said no to them for this year, but my patio feels like winter without their lushness, so I’ve decided they need to make a comeback!

And HERE is the year the ferns got so massive. Oh my word…

So this week was really just a scattered this and that with nothing fabulous to show for it. At least I’m not sweating and I have no weeds, so there’s that!

So this enchantingly cool fair chair came together starting with a wood chip! And in true Crafty Mix form, other bits and pieces were added to the mix to make the finished fairy chair shine. May I order an adult size please? SO sweet!
