Greetings, friends!

This week, rather than whip out a new DIY project, I decided to finally tackle adding a new roof to one side of my garden shed.

Where’s the roof you ask? It’s buried under those grapevines which I also had to cut back in order to get this done! But the roof was over 30 years old so it was indeed a well-overdue upgrade.

However, as you can see, I waited until all the grapevine leaves had dropped so I was just dealing with cutting back vines. MUCH easier! So now was the right time.

This was kind of a big deal since I have never worked with PVC roof panels (see these on my patio redo) myself before. But despite rusty nails and stripped screws, I got it done, thinking I’d have this grand reveal right after.

NOT SO. Turns out I needed more recuperating time than anticipated! Ha! But I’m just SO pleased that I tried something new and learned a ton in the process!

This past week I also took the time to prepare a new DIY for next week to share with a group of creative friends, so stay tuned for Wednesday’s new project! It’s a fun one!
