Pallet and reclaimed lumber projects via Funky Junk Interiors
Welcome to Saturday Nite Special #138, the multi themed DIY link party!
* Home Decor / Gardening
* Crafts, / Sewing / Recipes / Printables / Blog tips
* Theme of the week
Every Fri 7pm to Sunday 11 pm Pacific.
Once upon a time I was just being cheap. So I gathered up some curb side finds and throw aways and created my own line of pallet and reclaimed wood projects.
Who knew this would flip into a trend?! I sure didn’t.
So here’s my own ‘little’ collection. You may need a nap half way down… this list is rather… long.

What can I say… I love working with reclaimed lumber! It does what you want it to do, it’s strong, versatile, and deliciously rustic from the get go! Can’t wait to see yours!
Please share your pallet / reclaimed lumber projects in this weekend’s 3rd themed linkup!

How to link up to a link party
~ SNS blah blah linkup rules
1. DIY home projects only pretty please. Items for sale must be in tutorial form on your blog.
2. Please link back to the party (text or button) within your post. See BUTTONS under main blog header. Those that link back will have a chance to be featured.
3. Only projects new to SNS please. The themed linkup is an exception.
4. By linking up here, you’re cool with me featuring you on my blog, Pinterest, Twitter or FJI Facebook with no additional permission required.
Join us on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter this weekend for party highlights!
Oh I love all the pallet projects! Hubby picked up a couple last week for a project, I can hardly wait to get started on it.

Donna,
You have done things with pallets that I can only dream of … you have put a premium price on pallet wood. I won’t be surprised to walk into Lowes or Home Depot and see a pallet sections selling for top price!
Alas, I live in a city. A city that uses and reuses their pallets. Even at the Salvation Army. Pallets are not for sale. They are for function.
Love your projects and your link party …
🙂
Linda
I could spend all day checking out the great links at your party!
Thanks so much for hosting Donna! Have a great weekend!
Thank you for hosting! Always fun to see what your special ‘theme’ will be for the week. Little Bit
All linked up for this week…I’ve been busy junking things up outside 🙂 Thanks again for hosting! Laurel
I am so glad you started this trend!! I happily gather up scrap wood from anywhere and everywhere. I am amazed at how much really good wood I find in and around Dumpsters too! I moved on to Garage Door Panels and made an entire outdoor room with them. When I asked the guy throwing them out if I could have them, he looked at me like maybe he should call the mental hospital.
Oh… you give me far too much credit… I don’t think I started it. I just unintentionally became part of it! 🙂
Thanks for hosting….I always love to stop by for a visit…it’s one of my favorite creative spots around! Have a blessed, joy-filled week. hugs, mb
Thanks for this great party — I have about 15 boards from an old fence propped in the garage and have been collecting ideas for them. Lots of things pinned from your post already — now on to the party links for more!
Hi Donna
Did you ever do a “copy-cat challenge” for a Saturday Night Special? It would be fun to see how many people have tried to copy something exactly off your site. I know I made your Farmer’s Market sign and it is proudly hanging in my kitchen. It is not anything I would normally post because I copied it exactly from you. Maybe a party where all the copy cats of FJI came out of the closet and linked back to FJI would be fun!

Donna, I think you need to be crowned the pallet board-junkin’ queen! Your projects are great and plentiful too. Wishing you a fabulous week ahead.

Hi Donna,
First time in ages (since winter I think!) that I’ve been able to pop over here on a weekend for the party! Love all the projects. Linked up two of our own. Planning to add a mini pallet path in our new front garden on the side of the porch/stoop that the mailman uses – just like your walkway! 🙂
Love ya!
