And… I know the party is early today. I won’t be around later and wanted to be sure I had a handle on getting the linkup widgets to work on the new blog. Back to usual time next week!

This weekend it’s about yardsticks! I adore the extra detail these little wooden guys offer any DIY project. Kinda like stamped graphics without having to do the work!

If’ you’ve been watching this amazing contest, you’ll already know that Thistlewood Farms won first place with her amazing yardstick bicycle clock. To DIE for! The only problem I see here is that clock and wall and desk and chairs and trunk and red stuff are not in my house!

Have you seen Gadget Sponge’s amazing projects? I’m a BIG fan! This yardstick and block framed mirror is just so cool… a neat funky detail that offers a mirror a little vintage character.
