Greetings everyone!

We have gone camping AGAIN. I sure kept my vow by getting to the beach this year… I’m rather proud of me. 🙂 This round we are camping with a group of friends, so it should be a TON of fun!

Anyway, so glad you’re back for another party! I’m going to let a few junky features do the talking to help inspire you…

Mud bar – Prodigal Pieces

Oh my oh my OH MY. Do you have small kids? You need to make this mud bar! Ok, it’s actually an outdoor play kitchen for the kids, but in this case, the kids are baking with mud pies and such. I want to be a kid again!

Vintage radio clothes hamper – Gadget Sponge

Brian is a mastermind at creating cool stuff from repurposed stuff, and he does it again with this vintage radio turned clothes hamper. Don’t you LOVE the colour?! I have the PERFECT spot in my son’s bedroom for this… SOLD!

Decadent plate valance window treatment, by Somewhat Quirky Design, featured on Funky Junk Interiors

Plate valance – Somewhat Quirky Design

Who doesn’t love plates on a wall? This plate valance kicks the idea up a few notches. This is so beautiful! But it comes with a little trick on getting the plates to have a layered look. The blog post tells all!

Wow, if those amazing projects don’t get you outa your computer chair and running for some junk, I don’t know what would!

Anyway, happy partying guys! You can continue to follow our summer adventures on Instagram and Facebook. Cya soon!
