It’s no secret I love a good salvaged junk project! So I’m going to let these salvaged junk lights do all the talking. They are cool, quirky and beautiful in their own right! Which one would you like to try?
Garden fencing light – Creating A Life
Garden shmarden. I want that light! Love the shabby quality of this sweet thing.
DIY Egg Basket Light – 2 Little Superheros
Inspired by Under the Sycamore’s basket light, Danielle decided to follow suit and created this cool egg basket pendant light. Pretty sweet addition to any rustic setting for sure!
Stack of books light – The Shabby Creek Cottage
This light pretends to be a simple stack of books with a light sitting on top. But… it’s the real deal. VERY cool tutorial!
Steampunk lamp clock – Plum Doodles
When Sheila was challenged to make something out of an old clock, she rummaged through her junk and found a light from a Christmas village, and created this super cool clock lamp! Don’t you love those exposed gears and the warm glow? It reminds me of a fireplace.
Bike rim light – Gadget Sponge
It comes as no surprise that Brian created this amazing light from a bike rim and bundt pans complete with an edison styled bulb. Standard schmandard you are not, Brian! Love this! Me thinks I need to hook up with a Brian.
Vintage sifter light – Rustic Crafts and Chic Decor
Renee desired a rustic light for her cabin, so she outfitted a light kit with a vintage sifter. The perfect junk marriage.
Oil funnel gear salvaged junk lamp – Funky Junk Interiors
This is what happens when you challenge a junker to make a copy of something that really looks nothing like the original… there’s about 80,000 tons of junk happiness right here!
Do you have a salvaged junk kinda light?
Add it to this weekend’s 3rd themed linkup!

Sharing no junk this week, but loving looking at the cool junk lighting! I am in love with the stack of books light. Genius.
I have recently been lucky enough to have some great junk handed down to me. This site is a great source of inspiration. I don’t feel so bad bringing home all that “junk” that I know I can put to good use.
How unfortunate that some people don’t understand the fun they are missing.
Great site!! Thanks!
