Welcome to Saturday Nite Special, the multi themed DIY link party!

* Home Decor / Gardening

 * Crafts, / Sewing / Recipes / Printables / Blog tips

* Theme of the week

Every Fri 7pm  to Sunday 11 pm Pacific.

My preference is to hang things on hooks. Whether that be coats, towels, or clothing, a hook is just easy.

… continued …

But a hook doesn’t have to be of the standard fare. Here’s a little collection of some creative ways to hang your stuff up.

Villabarnes

Rosemary knows how to get my attention. Combine a fan blade with a crystal knob and you end up with a towel holder. This is striking!

A vintage mailbox with railroad spikes makes the perfect place to not only hang towels, but to also stash necessities. Cool, creative AND helpful. Isn’t the patina amazing?

Here’s proof that I love hooks. This pallet board covered wall with funky hooks resides in my bedroom and has proven to be a massive helper in keeping things off the floor.

When I ran out of horizontal space for my excess stuff, I just hung it up vertically near the front door. Wall art, storage AND coat hooks all in one!

Weird tape holder thing

I don’t know what this thing is, but it resides on a wall in my sign shop taking care of all the tape and stuff. I love it!

 Do you have any creative hooks?

  1. Good morning! I linked up two things today.
    (1) I have been overrun with tomatoes from my garden. And I love sundried tomatoes. I’ve linked up Sundried Roma Tomatoes-made in the oven (# 108). They are so good on a pizza, a sandwich, or just by themselves.
    (2) I’ve also linked up simple recipes to make all of your Skin Care from home. The ingredients are healthy, moisturizing, wrinkle-fighting and non-toxic (# 109).
    Hope you enjoy and thanks for hosting the party again!

  2. Yes I have a cool hook my daddy made many many years ago out of a tree branch. I Have it hanging on my wall with a hat on it. He would be proud and mom would just shake her
    head. LOL. Cool party!

  3. thanks for hosting, Donna! I have a show tomorrow, so I took a few quick pics for my Fb page yesterday… darn it, I had a creative hook in that bunch! Maybe I will have to try and take some more photos….linked up a dresser makeover this week though! 🙂

  4. I LOVE your creative hooks! We’re in the process of remodeling a better sewing/home office for me so this totally inspires me to go out to our local Home Resource second hand shop and find some creative hooks. Thanks for hosting such a fun link up 🙂

  5. I can’t what to see what people post for the hook segment. I can always use a better idea than my plain Jane vintage schoolhouse hooks (boring). Thanks for hosting the party and hope you’re enjoying the weekend.

  6. I’ll be praying for Cindy.

    Just found your party and your great site. I’ll be adding you to my party list. I’m hosting today, too. You and your followers are invited to come and link up any time this weekend at One Creative Weekend on OneCreativeMommy.com. Hope to see you there!

  7. Thanks so much for the fun, funky party Donna. Happy to have something to share this week. 🙂 Also, your family is in my prayers! Big Hugs. Sherry

  8. Better late than never?? We’ve been out of town the last couple of weeks…and I’ve really missed your fun party!! I just linked up a crusty barn door latch arm we use as a hook in our bedroom 🙂 Thanks for hosting!! Laurel
