Welcome to Saturday Nite Special, the multi themed DIY link party!

* Home Decor / Gardening

 * Crafts, / Sewing / Recipes / Printables / Blog tips

* Theme of the week

Every Fri 7pm  to Sunday 11 pm Pacific.

I LOVE me some hydrangeas! They are easy keepers (doing best in abit of shade and moist soil), look abundant on the bush and dry amazingly well after being harvested. I just love how the blooms fill up empty nooks and crannies so quickly!

So what can we do with these lovelies?

  1. I adore hydrangeas! There was way too much sun for me to plant them in my first house so I was thrilled when we moved and I was able to plant some. But then we moved – before I could even see them in all of their fabulous glory!

    So what do you think I did when we moved again? Yep – planted a dozen of those babies! (here’s to hoping I don’t move any time soon)

  2. I grow a couple of hydrangeas on the side of our home, and they are huge and lovely every summer! Yours are gorgeous, and I really like how you used them to fill those dresser drawers–pretty. Thank you so much for hosting the party for us tonight, Donna–have a great weekend!

  3. Maybe one day, when the deer stop eating mine, I can have enough for a wreath! It’s a good thing they are so cute 🙂

    Thanks for hosting Donna ~ Appreciate the great party ~ Enjoy your weekend home 🙂 All the Bella Rustica posts were wonderful.

  4. We can’t grow hydrangeas here but I am pretending with a batch I keep in a metal bucket. Thanks for taking the time to party! It’s always a good time.

  5. I thought it was funny that yesterday you posted a hydrangea project, the very same day I made my first hydrangea wreath after being given the hand-dried flowers from a family member. Then, as luck would have it, the SNS was featuring hydrangeas! Great minds think alike… 😛

  6. I love hydrangeas…have a few different varieties around the property. Most of the time I don’t cut them because I love how they look on the shrub, but I did bring some in to put on the buffet for Thanksgiving.
    Another great party!! Thanks for hosting.
    Debbie 🙂

  7.
