So, looking back, what was your own personal favourite project during Sept/Oct?
I don’t mean fall themed, just something you made.
I had a perfectly pretty coffee table for a long while. It was even the ultimate Lego table because of the outer ridge. But I knew early on that I wouldn’t have it forever. I was still experimenting with whites at the time, and while pretty and functional, I needed my quirky wood back.
So I gave the table to my sweet neighbour Torrie…
… so I could make way for my pallet wood handmade coffee table. YES! Can you see the real me in this room now?!
I fell in love with the size of the white one so the new one is similar. 36 x 48 to be exact.
The floor wool rug was a steal at a thrift for a whoppin’ $20! And it’s amazing, so very soft and warm on those cold bare feet.
Even the sofa got a mini makeover. I left it as is except piled a mix of coffee bean sacks overtop of existing pillows. No sew, baby… truly, it feels like a brand new room.
I felt the new table needed a new ‘something’, so my little checkerboard tray was born. Quirk meets quirk.
I LOVE the fact that the white table only cost me $20 and some paint. This enabled me to change my mind at any time I desired without feeling guilt.

Thanks so much for hosting these great link-ups! My favorite project this fall was getting several girlfriends together for an afternoon of soup and spiked apple cider while making these awesome painted wood bangles (Shown in #9 of the themed link-up!). They are such an easy and fun craft that really let’s each person’s individual personality shine.

Love your table Donna!
My favorite project that I linked up for Oct was a bar stool that I was able to just get creative with and make it a functional piece of art. I love when we can take a piece of furniture, have no idea what we’ll do but in the end, love the results. That’s how my Industrial look stool came to be.
Thanks for hosting a great party!!
Hi Donna…love your new coffee table and covered pillows!! I linked up my “new” wine crate ottoman. I used a burlap tree bag for to cover a pillow for mine too! “No sew” is the only way for me 🙂 Thanks for hosting! Have a great weekend, Laurel
Thanks for the party Donna! So excited to have someplace to show off my hall again! I worked hard on that sucker and it’s great to link up with you! Happy weekend!
Hi Donna, I’ve been a follower for years, but somehow I’ve never made it over here for a party. Today I’m happy to be linkiing up my pumpkin centerpiece. Thanks for making all this sharing possible.

Thanks for much for sharing another wonderful party!
I just love your couch, is it an old one or a replica? If it’s newer, where might I find one similar?
Thanks for hosting, Donna. I am sharing my galvanized container collection (#106 in the Home Decor section) and my favourite project this Fall is a pillow and bunting I made using leftover plaid flannels from a throw and table runner I made a few years ago.
Love the new coffee table. It is so you, especially with the awesome rusty gears on the side. Very cool.
Oh, and I remember the post on you deciding to use real plants and I love that they are still thriving. They look great in your photos.
Thank you so much for hosting an awesome party!! Have a wonderful weekend 🙂
xoxo, Tanya
Thanks for hosting another great party.
You are SOOOOO talented!
The Busy Bee’s.
Donna, the new coffee table is definitely YOU! I kept a huge, square coffee table that didn’t really suit the room for way to long, as it was also, the perfect LEGO table. It was very well loved though. lol
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for the party (:
Oops! I linked my favorite October project but forgot to comment! 😉 My favorite is my entryway closet redo. Can you believe I had procrastinated for 11 years? I finally admitted to myself that it sorely needed an update. If you look and read, you’ll know exactly what I mean!
Thanks for hosting the link party and for all the inspiration you share.
All the best!
I linked up #72 – I dyed acorns with orange RIT dye. They’re such a fun little accent in my dining room and I can’t wait to experiment with more natural elements.
