Welcome to Party Junk 263 – an upcycled link party
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Hello all!
Lately my own DIY focus has been on wall treatments, so I felt that was a great theme to run.
Wall treatments can really bring plain’ ol drywall to life. And while planked walls are always desired, there are many other options that are more price efficient and easy to install.
Here are a few that I’ve done…
farmhouse bathroom attic wall treatment
photography cheater background wall treatment
I may have a new obsession with this wall treatment. Random sized boards are placed in random locations, and some of them aren’t even permanent, such as my photo studio above. Cheap and easy, and quite pretty if I do say so myself.
Reclaimed wood wall treatment in a workshop / Funky Junk Interiors
Desiring to create a little added stability and interest for hanging the workshop tools and such, random reclaimed wood did it for me. Lots of upcycled workshop organizing ideas are in this post.
Pallet wood feature wall with hooks / Funky Junk Interiors
I’ve always preferred hooks over hangers. Pallet wood attached to walls was so simple and effective. Full how to is in this post, and it couldn’t be simpler!
Entryway junk wall gallery / Funky Junk Interiors
One may argue this to be a wall gallery vs. a wall treatment… I say it’s both. 🙂 See how this gallery is busy hanging up our coats.
Have you done a fun wall treatment? Share it in this weekend’s 2nd themed linkup! I may add a few of yours to this post too.
