reclaimed wood planks
dresser to make over
crates and baskets for storage
tray and cup for office supplies near desk
paint roller, extender pole and paint tray for painting floors
crow bar, rubber mallet, exacto blade to remove carpet and strips

Instructions:
Floors
Remove old carpets by cutting smaller sections with a heavy duty exacto blade.
Roll up underlay, then remove nail tack strips along room edges with a crowbar and rubber mallet.
Fill in any concrete holes with grout repair. Allow to dry, then sand.
Roll paint onto the concrete floors if that is your desired end result. Price efficient and easy to change out!
Desk
Build a simple framed desk from reclaimed wood, customized to suit the size you desire.
Office Accessories
Gather up accessories you already have to create a cohesive, productive way to store all your office supplies. Baskets, crates, cups, etc.
Consider making over a dresser to store and hide office supplies.
Add floor to ceiling shelving for bulk storage. Hide some smaller items inside baskets and crates for a cleaner look.
Cozy up the space by adding a blanket to your chair, or curtains to the window.
Add extra lighting in corners and work areas to brighten up the space for task duties and for ambiance.
For an extra cozy feel, consider adding a small room heater or electric fireplace if space is downstairs or in a basement. This is on my list!
