Cut 2 2x4s to the length you'd like your ladder to be.
Measure the desired width of your ladder, then cut thicker branches to that length using straight miter saw cuts on both ends.
Mark where you'd like the rungs to be positioned on the 2x4s. Predrill holes at each mark. You may benefit by pre drilling holes into the ends of each branch as well.
Position branches between the 2x4s, then attach with screws from the outside of the boards.
Using stencils, label the sides of your ladder with a theme of choice. We used Farmers' Market and Flower stencils to create the message Flower Market.
Lean the ladder into position, then attach to the wall or floor to keep from tipping if desired.
Buckets as planters
Drill drain holes into the bottoms of galvanized buckets, etc.
Add a thin layer of gravel over the holes, then fill with container soil.
Arrange plants on ground to determine where you'd like what.
Hang one bucket per branch rung with their screws or twine.
Plant flowers inside the buckets, then water well.
