Easy DIY pallet wood gate and walkway for the garden
Create a beautiful and functional addition to your garden with this easy DIY pallet wood gate and walkway project in 1 hour!
Supplies:
- 2 like-minded pallets in good shape
- 2 large gate hinges (plus handle and latch if desired)
- Shovel rake to level the ground
Instructions:
Pallet walkway
- Level the ground with a shovel and rake.
- Place pallet walkway on ground, then with a construction level on top, level it from underneath by working the soil.
DIY wood gate from a pallet
- Select a pallet that will size up well with your desired area.
- Attach two large gate latches along one side of the pallet.
- Prop the pallet up on something so it clears any obstructions underneath.
- Attach the gate hinges to a shed or post.
- If you wish to be able to latch the gate closed, you'll need to add a post to the swinging side of the gate to install a latch.
