Here's how I pull together a natural looking fall porch decor for my shed or home.

- Gather all your natural elements in one spot. Include buckets, containers, old garden tools and stumps.
- Start by layering your look, using larger things in the back.
- Use risers for different heights, such as stumps or planters.
- Use terra cotta pots for fall colour, fill-ins or risers.
- Collect real leaves, and scatter them around your vignettes.
- Add real tree branches with leaves still attached to fill in blank spots.
- Think of elements to feed the birds, such as a bird feeder or Mt. Ash berries.
- Warm up protected areas with outdoor blankets or pillows to soften the look on chairs.
- Add solar powered lights or lanterns to illuminate your displays during the evenings.
