Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 515
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Hey my junker friends!
Welcome! And I hope you had an enjoyable week!
I’m feeling a surge of happy thanks to our recent sunshine. Parts of my lawn need mowing AND the snowdrop flowers are in full bloom! It could still snow, but I’ll take it as it comes!
This week was spent on the computer designing new stencils, hopefully revealed soon. It’s a cute one!
But I did share my most recent Marie Kondo cleaning of shampoo, make up and the like! Come check out the mortifying pile of outdated stuff I had… and I only cleaned out the closet last year! Egads.
But I did get something crossed off my to-do list which I’ve delayed terribly. It isn’t blog worthy, but you know that dreaded list of things you need to do but just never want to? THAT list. I polished it off, or at least activated it into appointments. Health and life insurance, a broken window that needs fixing, you get the idea.
I know I’m dragging my feet in the creative department. I think I need a break. A mini vacay of sorts… I’m going to seriously think about this one. You miss travel musings YES? Please say yes! haha
Anyway, let’s enjoy the creativity you shared from last week’s party to fill the gaps once again!
This week’s DIY Salvaged Junk 515 Projects features:
Aren’t these canisters absolute retro Heaven on earth?! And they don’t even have to match! Vist the blog link to see how they started… they will look very familiar!
Ohhhh I love me a great chippy heart, but this lock and key takes it to the next level! Isn’t this sweet? Visit Kim over on Facebook for this and all her other junky creations as well!
Speaking of Heaven, coffee had me anyway, but I’m completely smitten how Cynthia ‘starred’ up this tray. What a cool vibe! Visit this post that shares other projects ‘with heart’…
If you love rust as much as apparently Angie and I do, visit this post. It shares a product that gets a super cool realistic finish on anything desired! Tin cans never looked so good.
Now that’s an Easter or spring repurposing project to the max! How cute and simple are these spindle carrots?! Click the post to learn how!
Speaking of travel memories… what a fantastic way to celebrate them everyday! I’d love nothing more than to fill up my own travel photo lantern with pictures of Ireland, Scotland and England! Click the post to learn how.
