Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 539
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
How? How can it be I haven’t written my OWN blog post in 3 weeks now?!
I’ll tell you how. I started ripping apart my rustic garden shed, started 2 flower beds and a patch of lawn, and gone on endless dump runs nearly every. single. day.
I’ve also visited two new bike trails I haven’t yet shared!
But I got close to blogging… does that count? I have photos edited of the shed progress and nearly got that up last night… until the phone rang. LOL Will share this next week for sure.
So today I’m dashing into town to pick up new plants for the big flower bed (complete with split rail fencing which got delivered yesterday), then Saturday planting, then hopefully over the weekend I’ll have time to finish the shed post!
Blog? What blog? Ah well, it’s been a very exciting and productive summer which feels pretty good!
So how have you been lately? Staying put at home? Working on anything big? Preparing for a little downtime?
Anyway, I’m so very grateful for YOUR creativity! Here’s some fab highlights from last week’s party…

This post isn’t really an up-cycle, but I really wanted to feature it because it’s SUCH a cool way to install a rock water feature done easy! Love how natural this looks. I want one! Visit the link for all the product how-to’s!
This did it! I think it’s time to collect chippy birdhouses because teamed with salvaged junk, they become spectacular junk art! This post is a MUST visit to see some other styles done up! So cool!
This beautiful orange wreath is so naturally perfect for indoors or out! Isn’t it the cutest?! Visit the link to learn how.
If you have an empty expanse of drywall, consider a wall gallery, thrifted-style! This post shares how to achieve this super glam look for pennies! This is stunning and totally pops against a deeper accent wall.
