New Upcycled Projects to Make 608
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Wow, can you believe how fast time is flying? For all the Christmas projects I’d still like to do, I’ll need another 6 months at least. haha
Ah well! At least I got my tree up on the blog, with my fav tree skirt idea to date I think!
DIY reclaimed wood Sled Christmas tree skirt
My original brainstorm had been to just put a faux tree on a sled and call it a day! But when I changed my mind to a real tree, it didn’t fit. So I decided to make my own sled skirt instead. Which I love even more than the vintage sled I had planned to use!
This is such an easy project that can be installed after the tree is already up too!
This past week I also shared this year’s Christmas pillows I made, which I’ll also share in the linkup below.
This place is starting to look like Christmas! Finally.
Let’s now check out the creativity YOU brought over from last week’s party… and let’s change my Christmas deadline to 8 months now… LOL

Birdhouse Christmas village
Next time you think of putting up a Christmas village, you may want to entertain the thought of repurposing dollar store bird houses… because that’s how this sweet village was made! I adore that idea and those little crooked chimneys in this Scandi-style village. Visit the post for all the details!
Lightbulb Christmas ornaments
Having a few burnt out lightbulbs turned out to be a plus… because they turned into charming lightbulb Christmas ornaments instead! Don’t you think they have a snow globe look? Such a neat idea! Get all the secrets on this one in this post!
Faux gingerbread cookie reindeer garland
Every single Christmas I want gingerbread cookies for ornaments, but I don’t want to bake them! Well, here’s the best fix for (faux) gingerbread that I’ve seen yet! Isn’t this sweet faux gingerbread cookie deer Christmas garland just adorable?! I’m SO doing this idea! Details are in the post.
DIY Christmas trees made from sweaters
Grab your fav color sweaters this round, because this cozy little sweater Christmas tree forest is the cutest! I love the mini Christmas tree sizes size so they can be staged anywhere as a pretty winter vignette. Learn how in this tutorial!
How to paint a Christmas scene with stencils
Love Christmas scenes too? Here’s how to make your own with a couple of stencils! Love the vintage-vibe this scene has. It sure tells the whole story well, doesn’t it? Get all the stencil details and painting tricks in this post.
Make a DIY Christmas tree from a garden hose
Don’t throw those leaky garden hoses away, when you can make a garden hose Christmas tree like this cutie! ADORE the old school looking Christmas light decorations and vintage looking starburst on top. This is such a fun and unexpected project to check out!
