Welcome to Saturday Nite Special, the multi themed DIY link party!

* Theme of the week

Every Fri 7pm  to Sunday 11 pm Pacific.

Who doesn’t love a sweet little garland? They are ideal with any occasion and it’s fun to create something themed for a given event. However today, here’s a few that go well with all things Christmas, even though on their own, these particular garlands could be for any season.

Garlands certainly don’t need to be difficult. This was my own take on an easy button garland created with ornament hooks!

This chevron styled garland went pretty quick, although I have a few tips to help keep it strong.

3. Only projects new to SNS please. The themed linkup is an exception.

4. By linking up here, you’re cool with me featuring you on my blog,  Pinterest, Twitter, FJI Facebook and I Love That Junk with no additional permission required.

  1. Thank you so much, Donna for putting so much time into this linky party each week and for letting me share my blog and home here.

    Wishing you a very blessed Christmas and New Year!

    xoxo
    Kathleen

  2. I love the button garland, and as you mention, it definitely could be used at other times of the year as well. Thank you so much for hosting the party tonight, and I wish you a very happy Christmas! Your home looks like a Christmas card with all the snow! No snow here, but lots of rain :)

  3. I do love that twig garland! I found this really cool roll of what looks like grapevine ribbon- it reminds me of a little fence that would go around a fairy house. I used this for garland around my tree- it looks great but is impossible to get a picture of- at least for me who still can’t figure out her new camera! Wish I could get a picture of it though for your garland party! Oh well will link up my tour instead.

  4. Love your garlands!! I can’t stop thinking about that twig garland with the pop bottles in your stairway…genius!! I linked up my mantel post (#26)…I used 3 different kinds of garland…twine with greens, paper chain, and glass ball lights :) I also linked up my tree stand wine chiller in Home Decor (#105). Can’t wait to go peek around. Just hope my “things to do before Christmas” list doesn’t get any longer ;) Thanks for hosting!!!

  5. I used your twig garland as inspiration (and gave a link back to the tutorial) for my MAN Tree bullet shell casing garland. I think you will enjoy it and my junky, industrial star on the tree. Thanks for the great party!

  6. Thanks for hosting the party. I linked up my living room tour and a chalkboard printable project. Sadly, no garland here, although I do have a love affiar with tinsel this year. Have a wonderful holiday. I’m off to check out some of the recipe posts, because I am in dire need of a dessert for tomorrow!
