Button garland
Garlands certainly don’t need to be difficult. This was my own take on an easy button garland created with ornament hooks!
It’s quaint and sweet, and looks good for Christmas or everyday, wherever you hang it!
Here’s some neutral buttons that could work out well! And don’t forget the Christmas ornament hooks!
Chevron twig garland
This chevron styled garland is super unique and came together really quick, although I do have a few tips to help keep it stronger and more secure! It’s the perfect layering garland since it’s so subtle. Visit the post to see it hung across my front doorway window!
You will need thin twigs cut to size, evergreen greenery branches, string and cute buffalo check red and white bows for this effect.
Christmas twig garland
This Christmas twig garland was made with a bundle of twigs I landed at the thrift store, however any twigs of any size can be used. Just cut them to the same length and start tieing to create a very unique twig garland you can make in a couple of hours! This garland is hefty and can handle lots of space, such as a fireplace mantel, stairwell, or large window.

Rustic twig and pinecone garland
This amazing twig and pinecone garland is the result of snapping off grapevine branches at their natural elbows. It created a very rustic take! Then add in some pinecones every 7 twigs or so to break it up into this unique effect! Team it up with a woodsy wreath for the full meal deal!
I personally loved hanging this garland on my fireplace mantel you can see HERE.
Rusty washer and wood round garland
If I told you anything could become a garland, would you believe me? I think this rusty washer combined with wood rounds oughta prove that fact! It’s super quirky, but boy does it pull a punch with whimsey and rustic all in one!
I loved hanging it from a chair, however it can also be hung on a Christmas tree, stairway, mantel, etc. It’s especially perfect for outdoors since all the elements can handle weather.
And here’s some fabulous garlands you can check out on Hometalk!

I loved your last post with your shed and outdoor photos in the snow so much that I took photos of my yard too and flower pots of snow. Then contrasted them with photos from last summer. Thanks for inspiring me AGAIN!
Thank you so much, Donna for putting so much time into this linky party each week and for letting me share my blog and home here.
Wishing you a very blessed Christmas and New Year!

I love the button garland, and as you mention, it definitely could be used at other times of the year as well. Thank you so much for hosting the party tonight, and I wish you a very happy Christmas! Your home looks like a Christmas card with all the snow! No snow here, but lots of rain 🙂

I do love that twig garland! I found this really cool roll of what looks like grapevine ribbon- it reminds me of a little fence that would go around a fairy house. I used this for garland around my tree- it looks great but is impossible to get a picture of- at least for me who still can’t figure out her new camera! Wish I could get a picture of it though for your garland party! Oh well will link up my tour instead.
