It’s the weekend! Yay!
And what a week it’s been in our region. We just got over major snow and ice storms, shutting down schools for pretty much a week. Now today, fierce winds, which can be pretty dangerous. But good to dissolve all the snow without flooding!
And right when I was wishing I wouldn’t have to run to so many appointments, so I could actually get some work done… so be careful what you wish for! 🙂
But I did spend a lot of time shovelling snow too. Hope to show you a post next week on all this crazy weather stuff. It sure was pretty!
So… let’s party! Here’s some incredible highlights from last weekend’s party…
More often than not, Jane does these stencilled projects that feel like I did them. She’s totally got the ‘crate look’ down!
But what’s even more intriguing with this sweet tote is her mad skills stencilling over that handle. What?? I also love that the tote wears a different message on the other side. Fun!
I’d fill it with fresh cut flowers on one side, and the salt and pepper shakers in the other if I had it right now.
I need to make that tote… stencil info is inside the blog post.
Did you hear me GASP from across the land when I first laid eyes on this fabulous shelving idea? They are gorgeous bare, never mind staged in some beautiful way. So clever!
I’m so all about organizing in unique ways, and this one ranks right up there. Simple pipe clips. Who woulda thought? Love how they were painted out in black, giving them kind of a wrought iron look!
Faux grain sack sachets from curtains, by Sadie Seasongoods
Raise your hand if you’ve ever wished you could land some vintage grain sacks, but whenever you do, you choke at the price.
Sarah figured out a way around that. Check out this post, and you’ll be throwing old curtains into your shopping buggy pronto! So pretty! Love the stamped variation too!
I am personally all OVER this project! The beauty of a crate teamed up with worn denim? To put my feet on at the end of the day? That even hides stuff? This needs to happen. Beautifully done! It’s beyond me why furniture companies are still making ottomans in full fabric mode. This idea has rustic charm!
Wanting to put some wood scraps to good use, this rustic heart became a thing! But coming up with 3 ways to use it was even more fun! The last idea is all about my fav bev of choice…
