Musings of the perfect home - shop scenario
With gorgeous weather this past week, I got my front door painted! But it didn’t stop there… it never does, does it? Branches were involved, plus a wood mat and barn wood bench. Now it looks like someone (quirky?) lives here again!

In other news, I received this AMAZING email that came at a time when I was feeling a lot of internal turmoil.  The email was the exact message that has been on my heart for a very long time. This goose bump filled read may trigger something within you too…

I also really meant to post more. But I have this thing now that if I don’t get the posts done in the AM, they don’t go out. Because the bike ride adventures are getting LONGER (I’m up to 2 hours now) and they take more out of me. (yes!!!)  I come home, slump on the sofa, and flick on Netflix, then I’m out like a light. Guess I’d better up the coffee intake each AM to gitter done…

Here’s what you’ve been up to from last week’s party…

Speaking of industrial, this barbell piece did it for me! Love the weight it would also provide. Obviously…

This post is a must visit to not only oogle over this fab junk angel, but to also view past junk angles as well. I love the mix of who knows what!

I vow to give junk mail a much more thorough look-see after this fabulous idea. Watch out for postcard weight!

Seriously?!?!? I didn’t know this was even a thing, but now that I DO know, what colour would I pick? Hmmm… aren’t they gorgeous?

Welcome to my quirky front door, mat and bench, by Funky Junk Interiors

This post was really all about repainting my door in a beautiful new shade of Bayberry by Fusion Mineral Paint. But then I got carried away with other things… as always.

  1. Thanks for featuring my RIT dyed clothespins, Donna! They are so easy and so fun…especially amassed in a bunch of vintage jars! Ready to clip up just about anything. Have a great weekend!

  2. Hi Donna, your front door is so handsome and the changes to the outside area of your entry look great. Thank you for your 388th DIY Salvage Junk Projects. This week I painted (and painted) a very bright shiny blue garage sale find and now it is a usable wall display shelf.
