Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 392
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
So nice to have you back. I am hoping you are safe, dry and have a few extra prayers to share with our precious Texan neighbours.Don’t mind if I join you. Just feeling deeply saddened by so much devastation. Sometimes I feel guilty that I’m safe and sound in comparison. Still deciding where to give. What have you chosen?
This past week with our hot then cool again weather, I’ve gravitated indoors and out without accomplishing anything to full completion. Changing walls to white-white upstairs is looking good! Covering up my septic access, not so much.
Ah well. I did a little story telling this week regardless.
First up, I found a gorgeous new trail on my way home from an appt one day which started off with grumbling I didn’t have my bike. But what you see will show you exactly why I changed my mind. Also sharing a little heath update.
I am also taking you back to my cabin in the woods stay where I found the local falls, and a super cool old school theatre that was a total shock. Such a fun little town to visit!
In other news, I upgraded my phone yesterday to a 7 plus (whooooop! and $ouch) and am now shopping for a slightly bigger TV for the bedroom, because my son wants my little one. It’s all good… the new one will be slightly bigger AND get Netflix which is even better… always a silver lining I say!
Anyway, thanks for sharing your gorgeous DIYS last weekend. Here’s a few highlights to highlight your weekend…
I don’t know about you, however this photo makes me want to rip out my kitchen upper cabinets, and stack or hang crates instead. Such an easy AND beautiful fix to gain a little more space without building a thing!
Just in case you haven’t fallen in love with buffalo checks (with a stencil) yet, pretty sure this simple and gorgeous tulip crate project will do it!
It’s subtle, yet offers so much to this gorgeous fall vignette, don’t you think?
Full stencil details are also in the post.
Why stick with standard schmandard frames when you can use clipboards and mandala stencils instead?
So easy to change photos out, and really makes one gorgeous and unique statement!
Dear those of you getting rid of old file cabinets… pick up some pin legs instead! Such a cool industrial-retro feel!
Just in case you were wondering what kind of pillow could bring sunshine into your interiors, this would be it!
How I just LOVE the texture the rustic fabrics and buttons create!
I’ve been debating on a new sewing machine… this is inching me just a little closer to that decision…
Maybe it’s time to just call messy carving pumpkins a total wrap… because I sure love this idea more! Adore the twine and leaf detail.
What lucky shoes to have such a cute home, complete with their own garden… such a fun and useful front porch idea! Where would you use this?
DANG… yes. This would definitely help me complete my lake house effect I have currently goin’ on. How PERFECT are these bottle buoys?!
Oh red cross design, you may be paying me a visit soon.
