Welcome to Party Junk 265 – 130+ salvaged garlands, Christmas and all season
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Happy weekend everyone!
I don’t know about you, but my Christmas boxes are all pulled out, and the big explosion has begun!
But I’m still actively looking for new ideas as I fire up the hot glue gun and recharge the cordless drill batteries. How about you?
So I thought this would be a great time to get a little preChristmas on the go. Everyone loves a great garland since they make such a big statement on stair rails and fireplaces. Here’s a few that I’ve done that could be for Christmas or all season…
Easy button and evergreen garlands on a headboard
Twig garland
Wood round and washer garland
Grapevine and pinecone twig garland
Grapevine / pinecone garland on a fireplace
Grapevine / pinecone garland in a window
Zig Zag twig garland
Zig Zag twig garland on a front door
All are VERY easy to do! What garlands have you made for Christmas or otherwise?
Link them up in this weekend’s 2nd and 3rd themed linkups! I could use some new ideas. 🙂

Thanks for sponsoring such a great party, Donna. LOVE all your garlands–you got the talent 🙂
Thanks for the party Donna. I love all of your garlands but my favorite one is the twig one.
Love all of your fun garlands!! ESPECIALLY the one with the jar rims 🙂 Thanks for hosting!! I linked up my apple basket lid snowflakes. Have a great weekend! Laurel
Years ago I made a pine shaving garland. I would soak a plank of pine and then using my sharpest plane, I would shave off strips of pine from the edge of the plank. I would cut them all to size and then glue the ends together, just like making a paper chain. Our pine garland is 30 years old but is everyone’s favourite Christmas decoration.
Thanks for sharing all these gorgeous (and super inexpensive!) garlands! I love them all and can’t wait to recreate some of them this holiday season.
Thank you for hosting the party. I love seeing all the wonderful garlands! Have a great weekend.
Thanks Donna…your garlands are amazing!
Ok Donna, now you have me in the mood to do something different this year. Love all of your garlands. Thanks for hosting this party!!
Thanks Donna for PJ 265. Loved seeing all your garlands on one page.
Thanks for the party Donna, my favorite! I linked up a couple scrap wood Christmas ideas! Have a lovely day!
Ahhh! I’m so glad I’m not the only one ready to pull out the decorations. I ordered a handmade wreath from a local farm, because we aren’t allowed to have live trees inside my apartments…but maybe I can grab some of the trimmings from the parent’s tree and try this!! Great!!!
Thanks for the garland links. I made a button garland this weekend!
