DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 353
Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific
Sorry the party started a little late. I ended up closing down Ikea, which was a spur of the moment trip. But my oh my… I have a new sofa and two chairs in my truck as I type!
That I have to install… piece by piece. eep.
But I sure know how to make the most of ‘spur’, huh?
But seriously… my sofa is about 20 years old. And my two chairs are $10 thrift store finds that need to be burned. Pretty stoked to see this all put together! Literally. Wish me luck.
So… this past week I posted a fair bit… look at me go!
The boy’s bedroom is really coming along… check out that black and wood wall!
I found the perfect junk styled file sorter for beside the phone…
I landed the mother lode in pumpkins and mums from nearby farms…
and the front entry and backyard shed got a little impromptu fall decorating… au natural style. Thanks, nature!
Back to you, here’s some FAB highlights from last weekend’s party…
Vintage Pantry stool, by Organized Clutter
Need a step stool to reach up on top of your pantry for things?
Leave it to Carlene to find the PERFECT one… that matched PERFECTLY with the stencil used. So charming!
This entire picture just needs to come home with me.
Thanksgiving turkey assemblage from a veggie steamer, by Wisconsin Magpie
This project is positively priceless and most genius. And rusty too! Just go look.
DIY Vintage shutters cabinet, by Scavenger Chic
This shutter needed a home, so Joan built an entire shelf from scratch out fit it. Lucky shutter!
LOVE the pop of blue to the 2 toned neutral shelf. Sweet project!
Christmas Gift: DIY Yardstick Coasters, by My Creative Days
She had me at yardsticks. But these coasters are extra cool… if you view the post, look how thick they are! Love this building trick!
Salvage Couture: Reclaimed Furniture Appliqué Brooches, By Sadie Seasongoods
Who else goes to the hardware store to buy jewelry? No one?! Well… the selection must be pretty awesome then, so run! Here’s how Sarah made out…
DIY Book Page Garland Tutorial by Lolly Jane
I adore garlands. And this book page variety that is so simple, rustic, and beautiful, is also incredibly neutral for anytime, any place.
Junky pumpkin people gal with silverware hand, by My Salvaged Treasures
Unbelievable cute, right?
It doesn’t end here. In fact.. there’s an entire FAMILY of these!
And you HAVE to check out THIS post, on pumpkins with attitude. The expressions!
So this is how Betsy carves each fall. Time to gather up costume jewelry and gourds I say!
Wagon Wheel Farmhouse Christmas Candle Chandelier, by Knick of Time
Oh Angie, this candle chandy is so charming! And so easy to swap out for ANY season. My kinda project!
