Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 460
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Hi all, and welcome!
Raise your hand if you are either in deep cleaning mode… OR in vacation land. It seems to be one or the other and friends, it’s messing me up because I want to do BOTH! 🙂
I honestly have never gone on a winter trip because of a good deal, as I haven’t had that option for years raising my in school son on my own. But the empty nest world is so different I barely know what to do with this new me. So I’m gonna hang tough and just feel out what’s right. So just keep that toe sand dipping to a dull roar, ok? 😀
Anyway, my brother paid a visit and boy was it productive. He spotted my table saw buried under a pile of camping gear and insisted I get it working! HERE is that story, loaded with newbie tips AND about our very first project!
Aside from that, I have been cleaning, but I didn’t intend to clean my kitchen pantry… HERE is that (rather troublesome) story and why it had to happen pronto. The comments alone are filled with even more tips on this issue!
So… let’s see what you’ve been up to lately! Here’s some fab highlights from last week’s party…
If you’ve ever wondered what to do with those round wood pieces you see at hardware stores, here’s TWO! First off, a lovely and productive tray that is large enough to use as a centrepiece! Visit the post for the 2nd idea because it’s a good one!
While I admit I’m not a traditional jewelry fanatic, THIS is the kind of thing I would wear! Isn’t this bracelet and earrings adorable?
This incredible post is loaded with many other tape measure ideas to make!
This project is beyond adorableness… this is winter whimsical! A must-peek to see how this glowing luminary was made… I want one!
That there is not just a cool old book. It’s a cool old book cover with a productive purpose inside… you’ll be making this one if you land the right cover, guaranteed!
This one’s for the true blue DIYer… what an unexpected and charming find indoors! So clever…
Joy goes on a vintage sign rampage once again, landing the perfect chippy board for this beauty! Love the grey and black! Full stencil details are inside this post.
Since sorting is big this time of year, here’s a lovely way to freshen up a small mail sorter! Doesn’t this scream spring?! Full stencil details are inside this post.
