Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 503

Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific

Hi all!

How are you enjoying this fine Black Friday, Small Business, Cyber Monday weekend?

I was a good blogger and small business owner and worked! And saved money too I suppose…

Over the past little while, I’ve been experimenting with doing more frequent video tutorials. I haven’t done much like that on Funky Junk yet but I’m going to start moreso. I finally started shooting my stories from Instagram to FB (go me! LOL) so I’m slowly figuring it all out. I just desire to inspire with actual movement as well as the written word. I’d like to build my bravery up to do FB lives but I may need another year for that one… (I kid. Maybe not.)

Anyway, it’s a busy season and I’ve barely made a dent. But I did manage to share Part 1 of my fun weekend in Seattle with my best friend! (I know! I escaped!)

Reindeer Feed Santa Sack from a sandbag and Funky Junk's Old Sign Stencils!

And even shared a cute way to make my own version of a Santa Sack out of a cheap $1.50 burlap sandbag from the local hardware store! This post shares a video too!

Black Friday Deals!

.

I’ve also got a couple of Black Friday deals going on with the stencils… you can visit the store to see the coupon code HERE plus 2 ways to enter for a chance to win 2 stencils of your choice on Instagram HERE – come on over!

Well my friends, you’ve been busy too… wait till you see these beauties from last weekend’s party…

And then blinked and didn’t get the post finished in time… but at least it’s up! Will be done in a jiffy…

My first thought was, WOOD! METAL! Reindeer sleigh parts! Who cares! I need these! Don’t they look like sleigh parts to you upon first glance?

Upon closer inspection, they all do something. But what it’s REALLY cool is where these parts came from… read the most to find out more.

This little crate was enhanced with Christmas crate markings that themed it perfectly for this lovely branch vignette! Super sweet! This post includes the stencil source so you can theme something similar!

This is always such a good time of year to head to the dollar stores. What they offer is a good start… but in the hands of Marie, it gets SO much better. Aren’t these mini wreath additions adorable?
