Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 510
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Happy winter!
Or, it sure was in my area this past week. We got hit with several snow storms which was completely cool, challenging, and distracting all in one! It was as if every window I walked by was a new TV screen and I had to keep peeking out to see what was going on every 30 seconds. Never mind keeping the driveway clear and my truck unfrozen… but hey, if food’s in the house, and I don’t have to drive AND the power stays on, bring it! But only for a little while…
I don’t know how snow country folks do this lots. I’m done being indoors and it’s only been storming for 1 week. How do you survive?!
I caught some fun captures of local traffic down my street on Instagram… check it out HERE
But I did get some closet purging done today thanks to THIS challenge…
Scrap wood Tic Tac Toe game tray by Funky Junk Interiors
… and I even made something fun! This Tic Tac Toe game was one of a few new Valentine’s Day themed stencils that were launched this past week, and I just HAD to make this game idea come to life!
Speaking of fun things, wait till you see the features from last week’s party… so unique!

Donna,
I am so honored to be featured on your page. Sweet Friend, I have been following you and loving your stuff for sooooo many years. You are my inspiration. Thanks again.
Cynthia
I’ve been watching your nasty weather on the news this week. Us western Canadian provinces have been hit hard this week too. I can’t believe here in Alberta we were the coldest place on earth on Wednesday morning! They got hit hard with cold weather in Kelowna too where my sister lives. I hear you re: cabin fever. Stay warm!
I’m so excited you got to enjoy some beautiful snow this week, Donna! It is definitely God’s artistry:) And lucky you, you don’t have it as long as we do! Thanks for hosting each week!
Brrrrrrrrrr, I would go bonkers stuck inside like that but you know you can always escape to Africa if you manage to de-snow your driveway. Our little house by the sea is all yours and the sunshine is guaranteed 😉
Hello Donna, another week with beautiful ideas ☻
Great features this week!
ohhh Donna! You made my week featuring my t.v. stand made from the old sewing machine base.
thanks so much!
