DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 375

Every Friday, 7 PM through Sunday 11 PM Pacific

Happy junk weekend, friends!

So nice to have you back! I’ve been really quiet on the blog this past week due to personal stuff going on. So I flipped a plea for help into an inspirational advice post… which was written for me. The good news is, thanks to your prayers and kind thoughts, some things dramatically changed. It was really weird. All these people showed up, aligning perfectly with my current needs.

Here’s an example. I decided to take a chance that the local gas station could book in my truck service. I never DRIVE there to do this, I generally phone.

Right in the parking lot was someone I knew from way back. We broke into convo, and little did I know how much pro experience he had in my given situation. He offered life changing advice that led to good things happening.

That does not JUST happen, folks.

Your continued good thoughts for strength and how to implement would be greatly appreciated. Lots of hard work ahead.

And now onto you! Here are some stunning features from last weekend’s party…

(add your OWN linkups to the widget BELOW the features)

Why you inspired me:

1 – The PERFECT thing to do with a light cage! How adorable is this? \ Light cover bird cage by Sadie Seasongoods.

2 – Joy releases her sign making talents once again, on all kinds of odds and sods. Love the cutting boards! \ Cutting board signs by A Vintage Green

3 – Don’t these map inspired candles have this special prestige about them? The have such a high end look! \ Antique World Map Candles by The Navage Patch

4 – Smitten with anything black and white, these speckled enamelware pans have found the perfect reason to exist! I would love this for office supplies… \ Enamel tray by Homeroad

5 – Carlene saved the cutest little wooden box with a rope handle that ever lived. I want to make this! \ Rope crate by Organized Clutter

6 – How perfect is the idea of painting two chairs (that won’t rot) for garden helpers? Lovely way to get some elevation among those flowers! Could even become a mini potting bench! Darling! \ Step stool garden plant stand by Penny’s Vintage Home

7 – I would NEVER have guessed that these gorgeous wall hooks came from a chair. Beautifully implemented! \ Chair wall hooks by Confessions of a Serial Do-It-Yourselfer

8 – I have NEVER seen an old vent look sooooo farmhouse good! Isn’t the sage green against wood super refreshing? \ Vent sign by Adirondack Girl At Heart

  1. Thanks Donna for including my cutting board Coffee sign in your features this week. I love the loud stripes in the cutting board, I had been saving it for a great sign and your coffee stencil was the right one.

Thanks too Donna for your 375th DIY Salvaged Junk Projects today. You will see your blog mentioned from your 2015 Heap of Change series. I loved that one, made me work hard, organize, discard and donate all in one very busy 3 weeks. You are a great motivator.

May good things continue to come into your life.

    Hugs,

    Joy

  2. Donna,
Sorry you had a hard week. Sometimes like can be so frustrating…and it’s definitely a marathon, not a sprint. So glad you have your Faith, because when we are weak, He is strong. Boast in your weakness for a while, girl. It happens to the best of us…fairly often! Thanks for your transparency;)And thanks for hosting!#7 and #8 were on my favorites list too!
