Happy weekend to ya!

This week was a real mixed bag. And boy do I have new stories to share soon.

I had to make a rush decision on something big which resulted in a major power packed ending in the course of 2 very short exhausting days. Then I did something totally drastic last night to tweak my mixed up meandering mind set that I couldn’t shake all summer long.

Let’s just say, my clearing out stuff mantra teamed up with a computer monitor hooked up to a credit card can lead a dangerously exciting life…

Some days I flat out don’t recognize myself. Maybe I should listen to my gut more often?

In other news, I painted my upstairs walls white-white, and restructured some crate shelving in my kitchen. Goodness, it feels good to make AND execute a decision! I should (ahem) try it more often…

Back to you, here’s some fab highlights from last weekend’s junk party…

I am in LOVE with this clay and wood plant wall shelf! So woodsy, rustic, and a blast of nature that won’t get in your way! Those straps are such a cool unexpected touch.

Now to pick up some good quality faux plants so mine can look this good…

What?! SERIOUSLY. This post is a must peek. Wait until you see how easy this idea is to make. Not only is this old clock turned lantern perfection for power outages, it would make a super cool nightlight too!

Really. Go see the inside. Mind blown idea.

Love how the tall skinny shape allows you to focus on one pretty plate at a time. This is one perfect repurpose!

I never got around to making some lake infused buoys yet. But this cute lamp idea has pushed me one step closer to those paints! Useful and very cabin-inspired indeed.
