Welcome to DIY Salvaged Junk Projects 433
Every Friday, 7 PM through Wednesday 11 PM Pacific
Aloha everyone!
Where is the post?! That’s the first thing I asked when I checked this fine AM. The scheduler did not take so not sure what happened! Well, I’m glad I checked because now it is. My apologies for the false alarm… perhaps the scheduler is on vacation as well…
I am currently enjoying some downtime in what I consider my Maui home! And am equally grateful I can still be a part of my online world from anywhere in the world! Boy did I pick the right job… 🙂
I have not yet created a blog post on my adventures here thus far except for my one post sharing that I’m Going Home. I’m still unwinding and visiting my favorite places to eat, however I do have plans to make it to the Maui Swap Meet on Saturday though, so be sure to check in on Instagram through the stories HERE
HERE is a post on the ‘junk’ I found one time I went… what a fun and fab place to visit! From fresh, local produce, to the guy that hacks open fresh coconuts on call, to this antiques guy that is a must-visit, you never know what you will find.
I sure have one fabulous lineup to share with you today from last week’s party…
Rustic cross leg console table by Anika’s DIY Life
This table is striking and clean! And a perfect fill-in for an empty tiny spot. Plans included with this post.
Footboard FARMHOUSE garden junk sign in a flowerbed by Organized Clutter
An old headboard finds its way into a Farmhouse inspired flower bed. ADORE the milk cans that chime in so well with this one!
Stencil details are inside this post.
Altered file book by Fresh Vintage By Lisa S
This clever project will make an unused book much more useful! Click through this post to see what this book looks like inside…
This would be so great for so many uses. This round, it’s about collecting garden seeds and notes and such. What would you use this idea for?
Lantern and pulley succulent planters by A Crafty Mix
If you aren’t sure what to do with those vintage lanterns you collect (heh…) here’s a wonderful idea with the addition of a super cool antique pulley!
Paper quill butterflies and flowers in a jar by Suzy’s Artsy-Craftsy Sitcom
This project will positively mesmerize you. There’s a little elbow grease involved, however look at this outcome! Enchanting.
Cable spool topped coffee and patio tables by Homeward Found
You see spool tables being used all over, however this post showcases a clever way to incorporate the spools to other bases. While the table in this post is a stunner, check out the patio table in this post also! Now that’s creative…
Window hand cart coffee table by Scavenger Chic
It all started with a window. From there, a little cart shaped base was hand built to incorporate this mix into a productive and cool coffee table. What a great edge!
What have you made this past week? Link up below!
~ Blah blah linkup rules ~

2. Linkups must be your own work, not another’s.
3. Only projects new to this link party please, to keep things fresh. Repeats may be deleted.
4. By linking up here, you’re cool with me featuring you on my blog, Pinterest, Twitter, FJI Facebook with a link back to you, or its own new LINK WIDGET with no additional permission required.
5. No need to link back! Pinning the first image instead would be very appreciated. Thank you! : )
Thanks for the feature on my farmhouse footboard! I wasn’t expecting a party this week! Glad you got away!
Thanks Carlene! And thanks for continuing to bring your wonderful projects over! I love to feature them!

My pleasure Deb! Your projects are so beautiful and creative making them fun to share!
Those lanterns are the BEST! I so want to do something similar, perhaps with some faux succulents!
I read you are going on a little beach getaway yourself. I hope you have a wonderful time. There’s something about that water, isn’t there?
Hi Donna,
Thank you so much for another awesome party!
I am so excited to see my Altered Gardening File in the feature.
xo Lisa S
Glad to provide, Lisa! Your book project is mind blowing amazing! Such a creative use for an otherwise unused book.
Thank you for hosting the party. I’m glad you are getting some downtime in Maui. Enjoy!
My pleasure Virginia! And yes, it’s so good to be back. The weather and surroundings are just so different here… it’s been fun sharing these adventures on Insta Stories!
